I'm sorry your DS is sick too. I guess it's that time of year. . . I have a bit of a sore throat myself, started to come on last night. I'm hoping it doesn't tun into anything worse. I hope your DS feels better real soon.

As for the suitcases - well when I unpacked from our weekend get-away DH asked if I wanted him to take the suitcases back to the basement and I said NO! So I have 2 of them ready to start packing, I just can't bring up the rest or the kids might start to get suspicious!

I don't know. I think I missed all that over the weekend. . . I was just going to use the LGMH and write "Snowbirds" on it - keeping it simple!

It's another Monday! 7 more Monday's until January (not counting today).

I went to Burger King this morning to get Cheesey Tots and pulled up to the window to pay, only to find that DH had taken the Debit Card out of my wallet this morning. Don't you love that!

I was surprised when I called WDW dining yesterday to change around some of our ADR's that I got everything I wanted just 10 weeks out!! I added on Chef Mickey's for our arrival night (since we added an extra night ) and asked for something between 5 & 6 and got 5:30! I also changed the Plaza from lunch to dinner on a Saturday, no problem. We decided on Beaches & Cream for the night we originally had Chef Mickey's scheduled. So I can't make an ADR for that. After I got off the phone DH told me that I should have made an ADR for Big River Grille for that night and then we would have somewhere to go if the wait at B&C is too long! I wish he would have mentioned that when I was on the phone because it is actually a good idea!!

My husband keeps taunting me because he knows I'm dying to get them out and start packing and I'm finding it really hard not to!

I was thinking of making a luggage tag and hanging it on my backpack or the stroller. On one side I was going to put the LGMH and the Snowbird on the other side.

Morning all! It's a cold one here! I'm still on my "Wicked" high from last night.
After I canceled my flights, and got a credit voucher,
my DH said to me - if you can just pick a new flight and apply the voucher, wouldn't that be great? You would be changing your flight, without having to pay the change fee.

Aha! - apparently he's right. I may end up rebooking to the day I want and if the flight is cheaper, I will have saved $ on the flight and avoided the change fee they wanted to charge me!! Did I really just put one over on the airline?
Well, it remains to be seen if I do it. We're waiting to see if DH's sister will bring MIL all the way to WDW so we don't have to go out of our way to pick her up (and lose precious WDW time!). So I don't know if we'll arrive Sunday or Monday yet. The planning never ends!
Remmy - I hope the DDP or DxDP works out for you. We considered the basic plan, but didn't want to be tied to ADRs and we usually don't do too many TS meals. I'm still considering the QS plan. I just have to decide if I can pay it up front.

Hoping for a Disney Visa code so we don't have to purchase an AP!

Mndisneygirl - We're going to see Wicked in a couple of weeks in Minneapolis. My DD21 and I have seen it in Chicago but my husband and DD18 have not. How did the show compare to others you have seen?

My biggest concern is we have seats on the main floor but they are the furthest to the left you can get (all that was available). I think next year we're going to purchase season tickets for the two of us and then just do add ons when my DD's are home from college.

If you need to drop the number of people in the end I wouldn't even bother to call. They may want to change your time around. This happened to us in May with LeCellier. I had originally booked it for all 4 of us. Later we decided on taking the kids to the kids club. I called dining to see if I needed to change it from 4 to 2 and the CM said that he suggested just leaving it and telling them when you arrive. So that's what we did and we were seated right away!

Yes you can change it to smaller number a lot easier than add people. I went thru this a few trips ago when we didn't know if DH would be able to go or not since his boss was being jerk.

I didn't have time to read everything. I just wanted to vent a little.


Ok. So I registered for my Honeymoon back in July, because I was really excited about it. Then all of a sudden last week I wasn't able to log on, or search it on the Disney Honeymoon Registry site. If I could search it, the inability to log on wouldn't be a problem, because I could be patient and wait until they fixed that. However, nobody can "FIND" my account, which means nobody can contribute, which is highly irritating, because my Bridal Shower is on Saturday, and the Disney Registry was the only one I've told people about. We registered at Target too, but since we've both been on our own for over 3 years, we both have a lot of stuff, and are going to be living in a tiny apartment, so it's not like we have space for duplicates. Anyways... now I don't think anybody is going to be able to access my registry, which means they're all going to get me whatever they want to get me, which means I'll probably end up with 10 toasters this weekend.
I know I should be happy with whatever anybody decides to buy me, because it's not like they HAVE to get me anything, but it's just really frustrating, because we were hoping to use whatever money people put on the registry for this weekend to pay our balance on our trip, and it seems now that it's just not going to work like that!
I'm going to end up with a ton of kitchen stuff that I have no space for, because my kitchen is only 4ft x 7!

Anyways... done venting now... I e-mailed the Registry people on Friday, and they got back to me saying that the Log On feature was having difficulties, <Ok Whatever> but I have to get my GiftCard in the mail and add the number in order to let people "Find" my registry, <which I did in July!> I'm sure she was thinking that I'm an idiot or something, and waited until the last minute to activate my registry and now am freaking out, because the site isn't working. However, though I am freaking out, it's because I thought I got this taken care of months ago, and it would be one thing I wouldn't have to worry about right now, but I suppose this is "Gang up on Becca week!"

Now, I have to go study for the test I was supposed to have on Friday, but still have had virtually no time to study for, because I had a million things to do this weekend.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I went up to the college I graduated from...Central Michigan University...and attended to sorority business, I'm an advisor to our chapter and we had elections.

We bought a couple new big suitcases in September, so I've been packing things in them since then. I have packed quite a few things beach towels, bathing suits, shampoo/conditioner, bath things, and now capris and shorts.

I think I can handle 7 Mondays. Actually... really I only have to get through 5 Mondays before my semester is over. Then I can go home and sleep on the new pullout couch that my Mommy just bought and let her take care of me until I get married.

Well I had to do some changes also to my ADRs and the only one I didn't get was the Ohana's around Wishes time..instead I'm there around 5pm..but I had to switch up my days because I didn't want my Hollywood Studios day to be my long day. So I will just rest a bit that evening have a relaxing dinner and then head over for EMH at Magic Kingdom and I'll just watch Wishes from there.

I also booked a car with Budget for a week for under $200. I also have one with Enterprise, the Enterprise one is $14.00 cheaper but the Budget is for a Intermediate instead of an Economy. I'm keeping both for now and will make my decision later LOL!!!!

I thought it was definitely comparable to the other "big" shows I've seen. It was really unique, the story was fun and moving and cool! We did have an understudy for the role of Glinda, but I thought she was great. Elphaba (wicked witch) was amazing!! Very powerful role.

I usually prefer to be in the balcony so you can see the whole stage and we were in the very top row of the top balcony! We did get the cheapest season tix though. I can't complain. Couldn't make out facial expressions, which would have been nice. There are probably one or two scenes where things happen near the side, but most everything is in the center. The music was phenomenal and I have the songs in my head this a.m. I definitely am buying the soundtrack! (something else to add to my to-do list)
I will be going back the night before Thanksgiving - I think we are main floor for that. I'll be interested to see the difference.
