So on the weekend, DH and I went to our travel agent and picked up our tickets and paid our insurance! Yayyyyyy!! :yay:

The agent, who we'd never met before, asked if we were going to Disneyland. I said we were going to Disney World, in Florida. Her response?

"Oh. Well... That'll be good too though, I guess!"

Heheheheheee. Silly Australian travel agent. :lmao:

In the words of the infamous Stephanie Tanner from Full House, "How Rude!" :rotfl2:

I read to only use this chart as a guide, that there are lots of errors? I think it's better than nothing, though.

I definitely don't agree with everything it says to do. I have looked up how to get somewhere on that site and I have thought to myself that I know a better route. :confused3

Just in case anybody had their hopes up.... the Maui scalloped potatoes are no longer on the Ohana menu.

They've been replaced by noodles a while ago, but for some reason AllEars keeps changing it back to potatoes.

Which is very sad!! I loved those potatoes!!! :sad1:

Good morning Snowbirds!

Had to work all weekend. I am exhausted and that made 17 days straight of work with still another 6 in front of me :( I need a nap. I do not know how many days I have left today...I will look when I post this! Hope you guys get your codes. Since I am staying DVC I won't be able to use any, but I hope they are good for you guys!

So what is everyone doing their first night in WDW. Our flight lands at 10:30 pm.

Shelly~You did do Ohana but I don't mind seeing it again! Maybe you could put up a Chef Mickey for us. We've never been there and are making it a part of our trip this year.

We hope to be at the resort by 1:30pm. Probably just unpack, maybe explore the resort, maybe swim if it's warm enough! Then it's off to dinner at 1900 Park Fare and then to MK for Wishes. :goodvibes

I did Chef Mickey's too! :goodvibes I have it listed as the 3rd one I posted. Maybe I should re-post them all on this thread!

Chef Mickey's is great! :thumbsup2

The day after Thanksgiving shopping is one of my favorite days of the year. DH and I get up at about 3 am and get out there! I love it!

We got our GPS from Staples last year, be sure to check them out. I love that store.

We're hoping to find a nice new TV for cheap this year. We have my Grandmother's TV and she's been dead for over 13 years, and she had it for a long time before she died. It's ROUGH! Time for a new one. I'm also hoping that my specific SD memory cards are cheap for our trip! :thumbsup2

Wow thanks for the tips...I hadn't thought about going to places like Staples for a GPS!

It's a huge deal at our house to find the paper at the one gas station open and then plot how we will conquer the stores based on opening times and wanted items. You'd think our shopping plans were of the uptmost importance and vital to National Security!!

I hope you find that memory card real chaap..I'll cross my fingers for ya!

I am excited that I was able to change our flights to the day before...but I am alittle nervous about the hotel now... we did book a preferred room.. and now we won't get to the hotel until about 9pm so that makes me worry a little that we might not get something as nice as if we got there at our original time of noon.... I guess if it is really bad I could ask to change the next day.... I do like the fact of getting there and then having the chance to unpack, let the boys explore the resort (its great to have teenagers who cazn go off on their own) and then be all rested to hit the gournd running in the morning....

Since we are coming in a day early, we are going to be driving down to WDW around dinner. We'll check in to the Poly and then go drop off the rental. since we'll be at DTD, we'll do some shopping before heading back for a great night's sleep!

I was feeling the same way when we were going to arrive late on the 20th. Then AirTran messed with my flights so we switched to SW and are now arriving around 1:00 on the 21st. I feel better about getting my room request this way because I didn't book a preferred room. But if you booked a preferred room you should be okay. :goodvibes

I hope so.... but I must admit I am a spoiled brat and I want a waterview, close to the pool and dining, and on the first floor..... I don't want to overlook parking, I prefer not to be on an upper floor (although that Contemporary snake thing has me nervous), I like a corner room.... did I mention I was a spoiled brat..... :rotfl:
