Hey all -

Can I please ask for prayers/thoughts/anything you prefer for a dear friend of mine, Kathryn? She is almost 25 weeks pregnant with twins. She is in the hospital on bedrest (has been for a month) and her water broke on Saturday. They are doing everything they can, but the reality is this is going to be tough. If you could just send some good thoughts her way, I'd appreciate it...

Well, I just ordered my Passporters - one for WDW and one for cruise. I can't wait to get them! I better make sure all my chores are done before then, so I can pore over them!! Just for fun I checked on flights from Orlando to home (if you remember, I'm only flying down with DD7 and planning to drive back with DH and DD5). They are down to $90!!! Now I have to decide if I should spend that money on plane tickets or stuff in WDW!! If I had the code for free dining or something fabulous, it would be a no-brainer! DH and I will have to chat tonight!! Before the price goes back up.

Trixie - How was the museum today?

It was way better than I thought it would be! The lady who did the presentations was absolutely fabulous! I'm going to write a letter to her boss...she was that good! (I figure that will help balance out all the complaining I do about DD9's teacher.) We were there from 8:30 until 1 and the kids would loved to have stayed longer. That says a lot, doesn't it?

I heard today from the other PTO mom's that DS7's field trip will be to Disney On Ice!!! I am so excited!!! Not sure when yet, but I had better get asked to go!! I go every year to places that I could care less about - the zoo, the circus, etc. Now I better get to go to Disney On Ice!!

I think that is the day that I would go also.... gotta get a few things straight around here first... I think DD will be visiting the boyfriend at Geneseo so maybe I could get the two of them to drive up and meet me... can't believe my little princess will be 19 on Thursday.... where does the time go

I made a facebook group! It's called Snowbirds!! I made it a closed group so only the cool kids (us Snowbirds) can join it. If you're interested in it, send me a PM so I can first add you as a friend and then invite you to the group! I am by NO means trying to pull anyone away from the Dis. How could I ever do that? It's just another place to hang out and share pictures, etc. I would never even THINK about leaving this thread EVER! We're going to be around forever, right??

Hey maybe we will have some Snowbird Babies oh about 9 months after January!!

That would be wonderful!! Dh has been to the Dr....so ours would be a miracle baby--he knew he had to do something, or I'ld be Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs!! I wanted a ton of kids!! He thinks 3 is plenty....

I tiptoe over to the other thread, too; after all, I started it! I guess I've got a tough skin - when things start getting nasty, I just skip those posts! Besides, I've got my asbestos gloves!

I am soooo very curious--just what did you start? Or can you not talk about it over here?
