For those adults with no kids and solo travelers-
What's a fun way to interact with the characters?
I have shyed away because I felt silly 'getting into character' with them. I regret acting that way and want to be a kid again this trip.
Any ideas?
My advice - put away your inhibitions. The characters are great in going with your lead. If you have a favorite, wear something with them on it - a shirt or hat. Know about them and their movie or TV show, have something to say. My husband is a big Goofy fan, and he will always walk right up to him and put out his hand to shake it and say "Hi Goofy - you're my favorite" which just makes Goofy get all proud and hug and we take pictures and they pose together. DH usually has on a Goofy hat with ears, so they will pose with their ears the same way - things like that. Knowing which is Chip and which is Dale is always a great one, too, rather than asking.
Treat them like their character and they will react back. And don't worry about anyone else seeing you or judging your behavior. You're there to have fun!
