Yes, I too just got done reading distherapy's TR and it was awesome!! I loved the pics of your twins running on the bridge before Crystal Palace breakfasts!!!

I hope you plan on doing another one after this trip...

which totally reminds me..off to get Eppy 8 finalized of my PTR and on its way to my lovely editor (where is Trixiequilts today?? she has been missed)

Sorry to say I have never seen the Office!! Maybe I'll need to turn in sometime!!

Okay, so you know what? It appears that I can't count! These late nights are starting to cath up to me! I have so many more posts to go before I hit 500! Like 40 or something! I need more sleeep, really, I can count, just a little tired is all!

BellaSoleil - I hope your hubby gets better soon. I'm sure you guys could use a good trip to WDW!!

Shelly - bummer about the eye thing. I've had eye problems since birth and it was rough as a kid, but now it seems more kids are wearing glasses and I never hear the kids tease like they used to. Or maybe they're smarter than me and don't do it when I'm around! :confused3

I love all the church names! It will be neat to see what gets picked.

I LOVE THE OFFICE!!!! I'm embarrassed to say that we just started watching this season. We cracked up at the As-Tird jokes. We should get the other seasons on DVD and have an Office marathon. That would cheer us up!

Seriously! We've been through so much already and then God throws in an armpit infection! You can't say He doesn't have a great sense of humor!:rotfl2:

YES! Get the other seasons! You'll think it's even funnier after you watch the first 3 seasons! DO IT! It will make you feel better!

And I am sympathizing with you, my sister, and your armpit troubles!:lmao: Scot had to have a small tumor (benign, thankfully!) from his armpit a few years back. It caused him a lot of pain and we spent a great amount of time talking about armpits during that time!

Of course, now with a 2 sons, seems the topic of armpits comes up a lot. They can't wait to get home to hang with their uncle. He's a master of armpit farts. :rolleyes1 Yes, these are my offspring. Thomas actually figured out how to use a straw and make really loud farting sounds in his armpit the other day.

I will admit that I laughed hysterically. :lmao: Yeah...I don't encourage them or anything!:rotfl:

And I see some serious double digit dancing going on! Woot! Woot!

BTW, Distherapy - I read your TR from your trip this past Jan/Feb - sounds like you had a great time! :) It is one of my BIG DREAMS to stay at the GF! It looks so beautiful! :thumbsup2

oh yeah - I noticed that you didn't go to Tom Sawyers Island - I think your little ones would have loved that! :)

Thanks! I know - we need to add that to our list for this year!

Thanks! Definitely - early breakfasts are our favorite thing! We have 3 scheduled in 5 days!

And I love those pics too - it's my wallpaper at home... :lovestruc

So may I ask how old the twins are now???? I was amazed at your character interaction I can only hope I will be as half as lucky!!!!

Sure! They are 4. They'll be 4 1/2 almost exactly when we go in January.

I'm sure you'll have lots of luck with characters! I didn't even try to be a character stalker (though I did have a few of those tendencies by accident...)

Shelly- I'm so sorry, I didn't even mention your son. I'm so glad the bloodwork came back okay. Glasses are better than bad blood work. :)

Carrie- :rotfl2: Thanks for giving me a laugh with the armpit talk! Doesn't it drive you crazy when your child does something hilarious that they shouldn't do and there's no way you can keep a straight face?

Jen- You would love The Office! It's one of a kind comedy, in my opinion.

I feel like I'm forgetting someone else. My brain has stopped functioning normally, I think.

I just have to say that I nearly peed myself when I read the part about your poor DH having to go pee so badly and you kept telling him to "HURRY" and "RUN" - :rotfl2:

geeez soleil How does one get a staph infection in their armpit??? Your poor husband.

BTW..what do you do at the church? I am sure you mentioned it before but I can't remember.

I'm another Office lover here!!! I haven't watched last nights show yet bc my hubby was working and we like to watch it together.

Shelly...good news about your little guy.

For those adults with no kids and solo travelers-

What's a fun way to interact with the characters?

I have shyed away because I felt silly 'getting into character' with them. I regret acting that way and want to be a kid again this trip.

Any ideas?

OH YEAH! :lmao: Our 5 yr old daughter is the QUEEN of inappropriate humor! She is so funny! We often have a hard time disciplining her for this very reason! She is just so darn stinkin' cute! princess: :rotfl2:

also should mention that instead of dissing I should be reading.

I am hosting our monthly book club next week and haven't started the book yet.

We have no idea! The ER doctor said it's happening alot. I told him to stay away from my deodorant. Not to even look at it.

I work with the High School girls in the Youth Group. I'm also a ministry assistant to everyone. I help out with any project anyone might have. My goal is to be in Women's Ministry one day, but I'm a bit young for that right now.

Just got home from work and running errands....wow! I had a lot to catch up on!

Soleil- I will keep you and your DH in my prayers!
Shelly- Glad to hear that everything went well with your DS.

Ready to dance everyone???

DOUBLE DIGIT DANCE PARTY!!!
:cool1: :cool1:   :cheer2: :cheer2: :rockband: party: :jumping1:

I'm so excited! I'm finally under 100 days! WOO HOO!!!

Did he know that you're planning on coming in January? Maybe as it is the inaugural month of the "Celebrations" theme, they're letting all of us who are already booked have our stays entirely free!:woohoo:
Don't we wish!!!
Maybe............I have a friend whos daughter works in Central Reservations...I just called her... they are out shopping... she is going to check when she gets home and let me know if there is anything in the works... I did get the $49 a night for November for AP holders.... what about January???????????? gooooooodddddddness.........I am getting impatient....
What you have an inside connection and you haven't shared? Track her down and hold her hostage until she gives up the code info!!! pirate:

Sorry everyone! I'm slow in posting. This morning has been WILD at work. DH went to the ER last night and we found out that he has a staph infection in his armpit. Seriously??? I feel like I'm hanging on by a thread these days.

Okay funny but not funny- his armpit? Of all the places:confused: Hope all stays calm for you and he his recovery continues without any more surprises!

I tell ya, it's always something. DS7's blood tests came back negative. So that was a good thing. But he did fail his eye exam and now I have to take him to a pediatric ophthalmologist next month. :faint: Good grief.
Good news!!! Glasses aren't so bad.

Anyone see The Office last night? I just watched it this afternoon online. HYSTERICAL!!!!! That has to be one of my all-time favorite shows ever. I nearly pass out laughing every week!

I almost peed my pants within the first two minutes with the watermelon scenes! Butter- babies are slippery! :happytv: Still laughing!

I read these posts over on the Jan Code Watch thread and wanted to share with the Snowbirds....

"Just to let everyone know a convention is being held at Dolphin and Swan. That is the reason for the AS Resorts showing as booked. I was told this by the Moms panel. They told me last year over 7000 people were at the convention. Blocks of rooms are put on hold for the convention until Dec. 18. Both POR are also showing as booked. The convention is being held Jan. 18 -22. The 7000 people does not include the families of the people who go to the convention. We changed are dates to Jan. 2-9 because of this. No resorts are booked for those dates and you get to still see some of the Christmas events."

"I just wanted to warn you the January 2, 3 & 4 will be extremely crowded. Kids will go back to school on the 5th so the dates leading up to the 5th will be REALLY crowded. I went in that time frame two years ago and the crowds were horrible - on Monday you will see a huge drop in attendance but if you could push your dates to the 5th throught the following weekend - you will be much happier with the crowds."

Ah yes, I was once in your position. I'm 20 - last trip I was 19 - so I was in the character equivalent of not trick or treating anymore! My friends, however, were not! I was definitely shy at first, but when Ariel acted like I wasn't so different than the stream of 100 little girls behind me, I relaxed. She talked to us about the "princes" we were on vacation with (my "prince" almost got thrown to the alligators..whole other story!!) and even commented on my Ariel pen, saying when I dropped the pen, "Oh! Ouch, you've dropped me on my head!" The princesses definitely had a good time as we compared prince stories, and such, and it was really fun. We didn't have to get into character with them, they just did it immediately!! All the characters we ran into were a great time, especially the Little Green Army Men, and some of my best memories are from that. I say just walk right up and try it - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Jasmine even remembered us later in the day after we had breakfast at CRT! She saw our wands and swords and said to Aladdin we were her friends, etc. For my best girlfriend who's dog is named after Jasmine she's so enamoured, this was the icing on the cake!!

I hope the crowd predictors are right..we arrive on the 4th but will probably just hang at the hotel that day and start the parks on the 5th when the crowds are going home.;)
