Oh.My.Goodness. :faint: I had two forkfuls of cold spaghetti out of a ziploc bag. :sad2:

I had microwaved popcorn!!!*

*I had an appointment after work. DH was in charge of dinner. I got home, no dinner anywhere. I asked him what was up. The look on his face was priceless as he figured out that he'd forgotten what was for dinner and that he was supposed to cook... and that he'd eaten without me. CLASSIC. I'm going to get so much mileage out of that. (And I could have made myself real food or really guilted DH into making me something, but the popcorn was tasty if a little light on the protein!)

That IS classic. The only reason I got to eat dinner is because they provide pizza at our monthly tutor meetings!

If I ever get to do the college program, I decided I'm going to watch the e-presentation the day it comes out, apply take the first available interview and BEG for the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique Fairy Godmother in Training job!!! They apparently only give out a handful of those jobs to CPs. I mean how fun would it be to dress up cute little girls all day! :goodvibes

I think I will retire and work at Disney... even if I have to wait for my future husband to die  ... oh that's terrible... i'm ashamed :sad2:

I found my own twin! :lmao:

grumpy.jpg

Ha!!!! You are not Grumpy--no way:sad2: I just don't believe it!!!

shawna- my jacket is fromt the Gap and it is my favorite:)

Wendy- your dinner sounded yummy. I made a pot roast in the crock pot because I had to be out in the early evening with my daughter at dance class and wanted to come home to dinner made. I have to admit...it wasn't very good, but the kids ate it:lmao:

Andrea- I KNEW it!! I have the very same one. I adore it!!I actually wore it to Disney last January:rotfl: Isn't that funny?!! We Dissers are soooo like minded!!!

Great pictures everybody...I really want to try that slide one day. Maybe can I finally talk Mom in the DVC this trip. I was so close on the last cruise.

QOTD:

I have two Disney jobs I want

1) I want to work on the Disney cruise ships. I started to apply for summer 2007 (Med. summer cruises) but my aunt decided to change her wedding to June, so I missed out.

2) I would love to be involved in resort or attraction design

Okay snowpeeps~ I am on my way out!! Gotta give my baby girl a bath and put clean sheets on my bed. I forgot I took the others off :scared1: & I am almost too tired to put the others on! Ha!:laundy: Of course, it never ends!!!!

have a blessed night-talk to y'all tomorrow!!!--Where we are all one day closer to DISNEY!!!

I loved all the answers to the QOTD!!!

Absolutely hilarious! :rotfl2:

Good morning Snowbirds.

Thanks so much for all the well wishes for DS7. :grouphug: Hopefully we will get good results from the tests in a few days. :goodvibes It was a terrible ordeal to have to put him through. And the main trouble was that DS9 started crying before DS7 did and got him all worked up. DS9 was out in the waiting room crying almost as hard as DS7. :sad2: The people out in the waiting room thought they were twins and he could feel his brothers pain. Oh my, what a day! :faint: And yes, the thought of telling them about the trip to calm them down did cross my mind, but I held strong.

:santa: Today I'm going Christmas shopping with my mom! :santa: I'm finally getting started! :rotfl: I'm usually nearly done by now!

I'm at 100 days today!

:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Man I really didn't get enough sleep last night and apparently I can't read a calendar. :headache: I'm NOT 100 days today. I'll be 100 tomorrow and get to do my Double Digit Dance Thursday. Oops! :rolleyes1

Congrats and Happy Celebrations to all of the Double Digit Snowbirds!

Cheese popcorn, perhaps? ;)

Absolutely hilarious! :rotfl2:

And of course, if you're having microwave popcorn (it's a microwave air popper so it's pretty healthy, really!!) for dinner... there's nothing better for desser than ice cream!!

...then a cheese stick when you figure out that, yeah, protein IS important. :rotfl:

ON THE PLUS SIDE: I finally got DH to call and make some ADRs he really wanted for meals we hadn't planned yet. Ah, the power of guilt!!

It's never too late!! *looks at calendar and counts* So, technically we arrive on the 9th. Our flight is supposed to touch down at 11:30pm. I guess that technically means I leave on the 87th day? But probably arrive on the 88th? REALLY? SWEET!!!!

:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Oh well, at least there are plenty of milestones to cross between now and then.

-Tomorrow's my doctor's appointment/diagnostic tests to confirm/decide what surgical procedure I'll need (I'm kind of nervous because my body's been so terrible recently - what if it's more than we thought?! alternately, what if there's no reason for my pain?!)

-Terrifying presentation for graduate students at work
-Halloween!!
-Fly to visit parents
-Surgery
-US Thanksgiving!!
-Grant deadline at work which all of the graduate students will ignore
-Christmas/Christmas break
-my birthday!
-the "OMG PANIC" time as the graduate students actually turn in their grant applications and the time when they realize that it is, in fact, far too late

-DISNEY! Disney Disney Disney!!! :upsidedow

(I did the same sort of milestone countdown when we went on our cruise to Alaska w/interior tour this summer, except we'd planned it a full year in advance!)
