Good afternoon all,

Busy day here today. Trying to watch the Phillies game, switch to the Eagles a little, and get the house ready for Halloween decos. A daughter who loves beads, jewelry, coloring, crafts, etc. leaves a LOT of little stuff around the house! Weather here is JUST perfect. DD and I went out this morning and I told her: "feel this - this is what it will be like in Disney World when we go." Sunny, high 60's, just gorgeous!

Got some great buys at Wal-mart today. They are clearing out a lot of summer stuff, so I got DD some outfits that I think will be perfect for the trip. Long knit shorts and T's (she's wearing Jr. size clothes now). Got a Hannah, High School Musical and Eeyore full outfit ($5 per piece), plus a cute Tink shirt ($5), and three pairs of long knit Hannah Pants ($4 each) and Tink PJs.($5) I didn't want to save them for Christmas in case they didn't fit, so she tried them on. Wearing the Eeyore outfit today to go to a friend's house.

She likes Donald but other than that, she's not that heavy into other characters OR princesses other than Mulan, so the Hannah and HSM stuff is great for her. I think all that's left for her clothes is a birthday shirt and family sweat jacket.

Phils are winning , Eagles are losing . Works for me, but DH is pretty bummed! I hope it's not ruining Peanut's trip - her DH with the green hair is probably sitting at ESPN zone trying to watch both games, cheering AND crying!

Well morning church is over with and we'll be heading back soon for choir practice, but I wanted to check in with you guys and wish you all a happy Sunday!!! Mom leaves in the morning and I'll be back to work so things are going back to normal!! So I will talk to you all later!!!

You should see sharadoc's binder..its amazing LOL I know I definitely have the fever and I even extended my trip by a day..its my dream trip I can do whatever I want YAY!!! Now to get a good code...like many of you I'm getting anxious! I'm not a Visa card holder or an AP holder but I am a FL resident...so I'm crossing fingers!!

I am trying to talk my DH into letting me buy TONS of stuff from disneyshopping.com. There are so many graphic tees on clearance that I'd like to buy for myself and for my DD. I am planning on giving them to her as Christmas gifts. She won't think anything of it because she loves Disney t-shirts.

I got some stuff in the mail from the DVC that I requested and they sent a coloring book with it. She colored the whole thing in 2 days and added captions to each picture! So cute! On the last page, she wrote "bye-bye, see you next year!" If only she knew!

Not much going on here today. We had church this morning then we headed over to the Buffalo Irish Center. They were having a shoe sale, so we went there to pick up our DD her first pair of ghillies (Irish dancing soft shoes). Now, we're just hanging out and waiting for the Bills game to be on. Go Buffalo!!

I'm addicted to the maps too!!!! I found ASMo and it was so cool to see a huge Buzz and Woody from a bird's eye view. I think the pool was still being built when they took the photo though. MK was really neat too!

And don't worry about the park hopper, I'm thinking the upgrade will probably be free in January!

I'm a little concerned about getting a code and how to use it- never done it before. I booked a package through Disney, tickets with Park Hopper but no waterparks and I added the QSDDP. Should I have just left it as a room only reservation (which is too late now) or will I still be able to apply a code and have the credit applied to my balance? Any snowbird veteran advice would be most appreciated!

I've never used any codes either, but this is what I understand.
When the code is released, you just call and ask to apply it to your reservation. However, the codes are not universal in that there is not availability in all room categories and resorts. If there is availability for the room you already have booked, then it's simple. If there isn't, and you want to apply the code then you must be flexible: willing to change resorts or room categories. It doesn't matter if you already have a package or room-only booked. However, they might have to cancel your current reservation and book a new one in order to make it work, which means they refund your deposit and bill you a new one.
For example, I am currently booked room-only at AKL Pool View for my trip. If a Free Upgrade is offered I'm not sure if I would take it, because that would require a change to a package and payment in full 45 days in advance. If I decide I would like to use that code, I would see if it could be applied to my reservation. If there is no availability in AKL, I would switch to WL or possibly one of the Moderates depending on availability.

If you've already reserved a package, then it's less complicated in my opinion. You're allowed to change your reservation at no charge up to 45 days before your trip, so if you call as soon as they release the code you should be able to make the change without any problems. Usually they release codes of this kind about 2 months before the first possible date it can be used for, which means they would release the January through February codes the beginning of November.

Good evening everyone!

I was at work all day (supposed to be home at 3 didn't get home til about 10 minutes ago....5:30).

The Brewers lost cool1: ). Yes, I'm from WI, but HATE the Brewers!

Planning trips is fun for me. Since we will be staying someplace new, my sister and I have been looking at sites every day and talking about different things that are at this resort.

We have our ADR's made, only 3 (I'll post the times when I find my sheet....I'm not organized!! ). The rest of the time we just eat in the parks or back at the resort. We hate "wasting" time sitting in restaurants when we could be on rides or seeing shows.

We also have a basic plan for what we are doing each day. Not hard core like first this ride, then this one, then this one. We just say we will be at this park this day, and that's it. It's hard to plan ride by ride because you can't predict how the crowds are going to be for each day.

We basically have everything we will need for this trip. All that's left is the park tickets. Which I will be purchasing at some point because I can use my Chase Credit Card and get triple points on it!

Alright, time to find some dinner and have a mug of hot chocolate!

How was everyone's weekend?

I'm just sitting down to relax a bit. I've been busy today was cleaning, laundry and car washing. I did take a quick trip out to the garden center and picked up some mums, a huge pumpkin and a plant for the living room.

I love mums! Now my front porch looks very festive!

I just wanted to say how thankful I am for him and that God is so merciful to send him to me!!! He really did do a great job and I was proud and feel very blessed!!

That's awesome! We had a very emotional day at church. Our pastor's birthday was yesterday and the staff surprised him by getting HIS pastor (from his childhood) to come speak today! It was very cool.

Well.... I'm extremely stressed out, but I know God is in control. We are at my parents and Lulu (my dog) is having diarrhea from the enema she got at the E-Vet. (Cleaning up leaky poop......the story of my life .) She is doing better and it is nothing too serious, so I'm very excited about that.

Thank you all so much for the support and prayers. I wish we were all going to Disney at the same time. I would hug each and every one of your necks!!!!
