Okay, cookies are done!

You know, as I stood there in my kitchen covered in flour and mixing, rolling, cutting out, baking, & frosting (and taking pictures of) oh about 100 Mickey-head cookies and listening (and singing)to all of the "Lunchtime with the 80's" songs on the radio, I had to stop and wonder - when exactly was it that I became such a nerd???!!!

You think you're a nerd? I baked sugar cookies and cut them into the shapes of numbers for Pi day for my Calculus class! Oh, and I listed to Barry Manilow when I made them!

Shelly- those cookies look yummy! I have a huge cookie cutter collection but seeing your cookies made me realize I don't have a Mickey one!

QOTD: I want a sweatshirt for me and I'll definitely be looking at the scrapbook stuff to see if they have anything different than my local scrapbook store. Last time I bought a scrap pack in DTD that came with papers, stickers, embellishments etc. I was kind of disappointed in the quality though. It's been 4 years and the stickers have lost their stick and just float around in the page protectors. One of these days I have to restick them where they belong. I've already started buying a few Disney scrapbook items at Walmart which I'm sure is cheaper than buying it at the parks anyway.

I'm back on page 66 trying to catch up with everyone.

Migraine is temporarily gone. I still have a dull ache but nothing like earlier.

Still bummed about Splash being down but I am happy that I will be able to catch Mickey's Philharmagic. Just one more reason to start planning my next trip

I witnessed something scary today. I am a developmental therapist. I work with very young childdren with developmental delays. I was waiting for a kiddo to show up at the mall, where we were going to visit the local Tumble Town. I was waiting on a bench next to a jewelry store, browsing the Dis on my Blackberry. I wasn't really paying attention, although I did notice 3 men standing at the counter of the jewelry store. All of the sudden, a man runs past me and into the JC Penney that was behind me. I didn't think anything of it at first. Perhaps he wanted to get some money to buy a nice piece of jewelry Yeah, I'm naive like that. At any rate, next thing I know, they store is pulling down it's gates and the security people and police show up. Turns out that he robbed the jewelry store at gun point WHILE I SAT THERE . . . completely oblivious . . . reading the Dis. Perhaps the Dis is hazardous to my health.

I can't honestly tell you, because I've never had one I just know that they sell them at the Tambu Lounge at the Poly and they are served in a pineapple.

I've seen a ton of pictures here on the Dis and heard about them. I figured that I have to have one.

I've got you beat! I went to a Barry Manilow CONCERT! In all fainess, DH won the tickets, it was Valentine's Day, and we were in a suite with free food, including chocolate covered strawberries. I guess it wasn't quite as nerdy that way.

Oh my goodness! All this talk of food ..... a girl could gain 10lbs just thinking about all the food y'all are talking about! Makes me so glad that I went to the gym tonight and walked 5 miles today! Oh my! I'm glad to hear your safe and sound! What a scary thing to have happen! The Dis (and other electronics) can cause you to be oblivious to the rest of the world, I know I am guilty of paying too much attention to my Ipod and not my surroundings on the subway, but if you didn't have the Dis to read, maybe you would have been in the way! God looks out for us in unique ways!

Hello everyone,

It's been a busy day. Well I think my interview want okay - the only issue is that I'm unavailable to work Fridays and since they are a bank that is a busy day for them. Hopefully it will work out, I should know within the next two weeks. But I'm still looking and applying other places so - the job search continues. I will even work retail for the holiday season, but only has a cashier - I don't do well with stock and putting things on shelves. I get bored working alone.

I'm hoping that they won't close Space Mountain in January b/c Splash Mountain and PhilharMagic are both closed. I think that will be too many bug things at once.
