So I officially cannot keep up with all of you Between classes and work and homework and studying I'm wiped! You'll just have to bear with me if I miss anything important. And today I looked at my ticker for the first time in a while and this was me ---> ..... We're coming up on the 2 month mark I can hardly believe it!! Gotta hit the sack now, 2 tests tomorrow

Also... it's my birthday!
I believe this calls for a party...

As I head to bed I have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Hope you have a great one!!

Too much Disney...bah!! I'm already planning my second trip in 2009. I'm going to go over the holidays so I can see Disney in all of its Christmas glory!!

Things have been so 'heavy' in the news, etc. lately, that I've decided to think about happy things...like our January 2009 Disney trip!!!

we now have 3 snowbirds from Western NY.... Clarence, Tonawanda.. and I am from Lockport (just taking up residence in Syracuse for now)....

Love it!!!!!!!!! My DH is is a bears fan. I am still in agony over last nights game.

Good morning guys!!! I have 8 days to go til my anniversary trip and I guess 3 1/2 til January trip. Here are a few of my family..

Well, my kids might hate me when they see our pictures in years to come, but at least their feet will stay warm, dry, and blister free, right?!

The only ride I can think of where your feet hang below you is Soarin' and they let you take your shoes off for it, so it's not really an issue.
I would go with comfortable feet. It's amazing how tired you can feel at the end of the day when your feet are sore.
I like the idea of getting Disney themed socks, I might do just that.

Isn't embarrassing photos one of the perks of being a parent that is passed from generation to generation!! I just assumed it was part of the manual you get when you become a mom!! LOL!!

Anyways I'm sure your kids won't mind too much, its Disney! And let's be honest crazier people (like myself LOL) will be running around the parks like a loon so they will just feel cool by default when they spot me LOL!!!

Everything is going well...I just go off the phone with the water heater repair guy and I'm going to get my new heater installed today YAY!! We have been without hot water going on two weeks now and I have been boiling the water for dishes and for baths. I feel like Laura Ingalls Wilder!! I'm a little nervous about being at the house by myself with the repair person by myself but the need for a hot shower is overwhelming!! At this point I would have settled just for that on my birthday!!

Ooohhh.... I am a little perturbed this morning. Hope you don't mind if I vent....

I went to go drop Belle off in her classroom and another mother walked in behind me to drop off her DD. The teacher asked me if I had taken Belle to the Dr (because of the explosive diapers last week) and I told her that I had, Belle HAD a virus and the diarrhea is just her body getting back to normal. The Dr said she was fine to travel and fine to go to school. Anyway, the mother said "What is wrong with her?" In a SUPER SNOTTY voice. I gave her the scoop to which she shot me a dirty glance and said, "Oh...." I could have slapped her. As if my child is a leper or something....

Anyway... I'm going to go have a nice glass of sweet tea and get happy.

Jenjolt- I can't believe you extended your trip! I'm going to read your trip report now.

BTW...Evangeline (my baby sister) is all settled in to her New Orleans chateau. She lives in an amazing district and she's right across the street from a lovely little park. I didn't want to leave.

Jenjolt..... I have had to be in the house alone with repair men.... what I do is get on my cell phone with my sister and talk to her the whole time they are in the house.... we usually are talking about a Disney trip....

her husband just bought another 200 DVC points as a surprise for her... now they have 400 points.... looks like I might be able to talk her into a couple of sister only weekend trips....

Good morning Snowbirds! Just wanted to get on here real quick before I start my day. Got my DD on the bus awhile ago now it's off to ballet class for me! Yea! What else is on the agenda today....grocery shopping (so fun), DD has Irish dance tonight and I have my tap class. In case you didn't know, I'm a dancer and have been dancing my whole life. At this time 100 days from now I will be sitting on an airplane, most likely annoying the person next to me with my jittery twitches. I can't ever sit still, and then add to it that I know I'm going Mickey's House

I think she is new to daycare and probably just very paranoid. Our daycare is the cleanest in the city, not to mention the hardest to get in to.

However, when you put your child in daycare or even school for that matter, they are going to be exposed to germs. That's just a fact of life. Cool your jets, lady!!!!
