Cake Bake Shop at the BoardWalk is now open

Surprised/not surprised.

Florida is under the 80/20 rule - If a tipped employee spends more than 20% of their workweek, or over 30 consecutive minutes, on tasks that do not produce tips (e.g., cleaning, restocking, setting tables), the employer cannot take a tip credit for that time.
Do they have to post this somewhere that all employees can see it? How many employees actually know this exists?

I'm assuming that tips are pretty good, so how many employees are willing to stand up and say something for fear of losing their jobs? Florida is an at-will state; an employer may terminate an employee for any legitimate reason, with or without explanation or warning.

Sounds to me like CBS is taking advantage of employees.

I’m not sure if required to post. The laws keep getting adjusted too adding an extra layer of ambiguity. Making it all a little less concrete. Some employers take advantage of what they can get away with, then there’s also slick litigious opportunists lol.
