Not to be nit picky but...... MouseSavers historical info shows that codes useable for dates in January have been released around the 15th of October! Only 10 more days!

Where did you see that? Every time I look I see the end of October or beginning of November... maybe I'm blind *shrug* October 15th would be nice... then I can stop agonizing over it.

Thanks for all the info- you've done your homework! I'm going as part of a grand gathering so I think I will talk with my mom and sister about the possibility of switching resorts if we have to. I wouldn't mind upgrading from ASMo to CBR if it means we save money!




Mmm hot chocolate sounds yummy- it's chilly here tonight. I need to get planning which parks we'll go to each day. That's about as planned as I get too. I want to look at the parades and shows and my ADR's and get a game plan going too.



I guess since you had such a rough day we'll let him out of his cell for just a minute- but it's only a day pass.

Yeah, I've been researching my trip for a LONG time, paying very close attention to when people get codes, and how they use them...

I just got off the phone with my 4 year old nephew. They got back from Disney on Saturday. He was telling me all about their trip, how he rode ToT and "it was wealy scawy" and that his hotel was "invented in early Hawaii". I can't wait to go over and lose myself in their pictures!

Awww... I love little kids, they're so adorable. My friend brought her kid. Matthew, over yesterday, and we were looking at pictures of my baby nephew Alexander, and Matthew kept saying, "Look at baby Matthew."

Well it's that time of year here in lovely western PA when we pack up the summer clothes in tubs and store them in the basement for the winter and bring up the sweaters. So, that's my project for today - my closet!

Only this time I get to leave out some of the summer clothes for my January trip to Florida!!! Too bad I don't really know what to plan on bringing. I was going to put a suitcase in my closet and throw some summer stuff in there for now, but then realized that the kids might get suspicious of the suitcase in my closet. . . Yes, they play in the closet sometimes. I have a walk-in and they can go in there and close the door and their Star Wars Lightsabers look very cool in there in the dark (I'm told)!

We used to play in my Mom's closet too, except I'm a girl, so my sister and I would pretend her bedroom was our "house" and the closet was the bedroom.

I just got the free dining in December offer again! If I was actually going to be on the same continent as Disney during the time of the offer, I'd consider changing my reservation. Unfortunately, it's not going to work out! Where are the January offers????

Yup... I got it too... I just hope it sticks, and I get a new one in a few weeks, when they release the ones for January.


Transportation was easy for me. I HATE driving, especially in traffic, which means my soon-to-be DH would have to drive the whole time, which means if it was late when we were heading back to our resort we would both be tired, and grumpy, and it would cause arguments... Also, I love the idea of Disney driving the whole time. I love public transportation, if only I could convince myself that I love city life, because then I would never have to get a car.
Also, neither one of us will be 24 on our trip, so the rental car would most likely be outrageously expensive.
Waiting for transportation doesn't bother me that much...it'll just give me time to check and recheck my plans for the day before I get going, and to get my soon-to-be DH excited about the things we're doing for the day.
I'm actually considering using the Touring Plans...Adults with Small Children plans, because I think those would suit him the best.
The only thing he has expressed incredible excitement about is Dumbo...

I'm taking it easy here today. I had the stomach flu that was going around this weekend and it was rough! I'm feeling better and also am in awe of my sweet husband who cleaned the house, mowed the lawn, did all of the laundry and made cupcakes with the kids while I was stuck in bed sick.

Good luck on the dentist. I believe you are right. Only thoughts of Disney and the wonderful food that can be found there will keep your mind off of what is really happening.

Oh, no! That's awful! I'm a dental nightmare, too. I've spent so much time in the dentist's chair it's really sad. Fortunately, no root canals, though. Just crowns.

I hope your procedure goes smoothly for you!

Oh poor Trixie! I hope all goes well and it is not too painful! Think good thoughts - Disney thoughts - and know that you are being prayed for by many!

Trixie~I'm praying for you girl!! My husband had one not too far back~it'll be okay. Just don't forget to take Tylenol (or whatever) BEFORE it starts hurting!! Really, his wasn't bad,--he only needed Tylenol once, but it was after he was kinda sore. I myself would have taken it before, after, after, after!!! If he would have taken it right away, I don't think he would have even been a little sore. After that first dose, he didn't take anymore and said he didn't hurt at all!!!

Sending happy thoughts your way Trixie!! I wish you a quick recovery, good pain meds, and wonderful Disney and food thoughts...yummy!!

You'll be okay. I had my first root canal back in April and it went very well. I just don't like getting numbed up. It always drips down my throat, so they just gave me extra suction so it wouldn't! I had a specialist work on me, so I didn't feel a thing and now I'm great!

Good luck at the dentist Trixie. We will be thinking about you.

OOPS! My bad! The 15th is when Canadian codes are released! So I may get a code on that day - the rest of you will have to wait for the GP/AP codes to be released later in the month!

So glad to hear that all went well and that you are all right! Dentists usually give an antibiotic after "sugery" to prevent any possible future infection! I had a root canal and my wisdom teeth removed in the same month about 7 yrs ago and it felt like I was on antibiotics for the whole month! Take it easy today, take your meds and you'll do just fine! Like somebody else said - TAKE TYLENOL BEFORE IT STARTS TO HURT!

The good news is that I finally bought a Christmas present!! DS9 has been wanting a camera. I found a Disney Pirates of the Caribbean digital camera on clearance for $35!! It was originally $48. I hope he's responsible enough to take care of it!

Awww... I'm glad everything went well!! I also agree with another snowbird (can't remember who at the moment I'm sorry ) but keep on those pain meds...nothing worse than a sore mouth!!!

We got a hard frost yesterday morning. It sure was chilly going to Church!

I love this time of year! We had a BEAUTIFUL day here yesterday. I actually washed the cars. They are calling for 2 days this week to be 70, which is nice early October in PA.

Starting to see lots of leaves changing colors!.

I love fall too! It's what comes after it that I dread!

Last year for Mother's Day we got my mom "The Little Black Disney Book". It's cute, little facts about each park. We also got her the dinning guide ( I don't know why, we know the restaurants we like to eat at!). There are a couple of recipes in the back that we are going to try out at some time.

We've done other books, "The Ultimate Hidden Mickey Guide", and try to see how many we can find. Also, some trivia books.

Other than that, we don't do the Birnbaum's (or however you spell that) or anything of the like. We did one year and found it completely useless.

OMGOSH!! You know what I just realized...Sleeping Beauty comes out tomorrow!! I'm so excited!! I love that movie, simply love it!! I have been humming for the last week "....Once upon a dream" Maybe its because I have my own Prince Phillip but that movie just warms me up from my head to my toes!!!
