We are totally getting photopass. I have read a lot about it and I think it's great. I love the little enhancements that can be made and I don't want to be stuck taking all of the pictures! I have maybe a handful of pictures of me from our last trip. I don't want that to happen again. This trip is going to be so special because #1- it's a surprise! and #2- it's just the three of us going. I love going with my parents and sisters, but we've never gone on vacation with just us three. So exciting!

Photopass Shares are great! You can generally get in on one for about $20-25 instead of paying over the $100 for it on your own. I already have 2 full groups of 7 people in each for January. If you ladies are interested I could organize a 3rd group on my thread. . . You would need to have a "Lead" though to take care of ordering the CD and making the copies and mailing and so on. . . You can read through the thread, I think how the share works is pretty well explained in there. Let me know if I can help anyone!

I really need to get exercising! I'm almost running out of time for it to make a difference. I have to be consistent, starting tomorrow!

Well, I just read about 3 days worth of this thread and I'm exhausted - does this count as exercising?

I did get up early and took my puppy on a 3 mile walk, then went to Curves. I hope all this thread-reading, walking, and Curves-ing did something to discount the MickeyD's I had for lunch

And since we're talking about countdowns, just 76 more days until my feet hit US soil for the first time in 4+ years!!!!

And maybe all of us snowbirds need to meet you at the airport! What a party that would be! Thank you for all the work you are doing -- our church is heavily involved with other churches in the Middle East, it's thrilling to learn all that God is doing throughout the world. You're such a blessing to us - what a blessing you must be to the folks in Israel.

We have another reason to party. Last night our Daughter was invited (with other children from her dance studio) to perform at WDW in August. That's another trip to WDW! Not to mention making a little girl's dream come true.

Doesn't she need another chaperone - or maybe 50 or so? Like us!?!?!?

So, call me crazy! I took the day off of work to drive an hour just to see what all of the hoopla was about with this Celebration Tour. Well, I was driving down Michigan Avenue in Milwaukee when I saw thousands of Mickey Head balloons. So I park and walk over to the Farmer's Market. Cast Members were handing out balloons with a gold envelope attached to the balloon that said "You're Invited". Inside the envelope is a code for the Celebration website. Problem is that I already registered my email address for the day, so I will have to wait until tomorrow to see if I won anything. Would I drive an hour again for this, maybe....it was a nice fall day today, but I was expecting a bit more. Mickey himself was on the local Fox Newscast this morning. I will have to see if I win an instant prize. If not, oh well, my daughters will fight for the cut balloon!

Hey, crazy! How much fun that is - glad you got to go, I'd have done the same thing. And a code, too - oh yeah...

Well, I made the mistake of telling one of my travel buddies about our little snowbird thread - he looked at me as if I suddenly sprouted another head! Oh well, his loss.....

And that reminded me of someone's comment about Law and Order - I did love that show but it did get pretty scary...I was getting a little paranoid. I do love the Gilmore Girls - starting watching it at the beginning of their last season but have caught up thanks to reruns. Yet another reason to my Snowbirds.

Did you feel like you looked really bad in the pics with them? I saw my DSisIL (who is very pretty) in a pic with Cinderella and even DSisIL looked bad. I don't know what I'll do...

I was just thinking about that like yesterday!! I doubt my BF will be tolerant enough to stand in line for that anyway.

That's why I'm getting a PhotoPass. I won't have to be the photographer allt he time, and we'll be able to get a good amount of photos of all of us. Will I look great - hardly! But it will be me, and my family and we'll all be together!!

I looked at getting that but we decided not to spend the money. I figure between the two of us we can each take pictures of each other and I've gotten pretty good at sticking my arm out all the way and getting a decent shot. Learned that from all those college parties. No I really don't party that much.

Did anyone even SEE the pictures I posted?? You all got so busy partying Not that there's anything wrong with that

I would do a share if people are down with that. I just wouldn't be able to be the lead because when it comes to computers, I'm horrible!

Our Southwest flight home just went DOWN!!! I have been faithfully checking every day, waiting, waiting. I went on this evening and found it went down $50 per person, a credit of $200!!! Now we have a credit for the trip down AND for the trip home!

Hello all - I just want to pass along a little bit of "wisdom" or "food for thought."

We all worry about looking good in pictures. But think, who are you worried about? Most of us are going on a trip with our family. They love us and have NO expectations of glamour. They love us for who they are and see us for the beautiful people we are! This trip is going to be a great memory for your family, I'm sure. Having pictures with you in them will be precious to them, as will the pictures with the rest of your family in them.

We recently went through all of our Disney photo albums. I'm only in a handful of pictures. You almost wouldn't know I was there. That's sad to me - being the photographer all the time. Now that we are going with the family, I want to be sure I'm in a lot more of them. My kids are going to want to see the photos of their first trip, and it will be sad to them if Mommy's not in there (especially when I'm "gone", KWIM?).

That's why I'm getting a PhotoPass. I won't have to be the photographer allt he time, and we'll be able to get a good amount of photos of all of us. Will I look great - hardly! But it will be me, and my family and we'll all be together!!

So, being the old lady that I am (sort-of), I'd just like you to think about it - that's all. Losing weight, looking beautiful - great goals. Being you - best goal!

I just checked my Northwest flight and it's still $80 more per person than when I bought tickets. I think I got lucky!

Boy, I leave for the weekend to celebrate Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year - a very spiritual time, not like secular New Year), and look what's happened! I just waded through more than 30 pages of posts!
