Another good place to keep track of how many days left until your trip is the Disney website. If you have booked through Disney, log on and just go to "My Disney Vacation" and it shows your days left:

"Your next vacation is 113 days away! Can't wait to see you real soon!"

It almost feels like Mickey's telling you himself!:worship:

I want to join the excersize club - we can call ourselves the Mousersizers!

Do ya'll remember Mousersize from the 80's? I had the record. :lmao:

I meant to start working out a month ago. I even bought cute new workout clothes. I walked the track and worked out with a trainer once. She whooped my bottom and I didn't go back.

i had the mousersize record, too. I loved it.

so lets plan. What sort of mousersize are you going to do today?

I am going to do a long brisk walk tonight after DH gets home from work. I belong to a gym and they have fantastic classes but none that i'm interested in tonight.

I worked out with a trainer about 7 years ago. I dropped 20 lbs in a months time. Went from a size 10 to a size 4. That seems like a life time ago. I've since gained, lost, gained, lost and gained it again.

And it's my 30th Birthday today!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey only 86 days until Christmas!! :santa: :goodvibes

From someone who works in retail...that's just evil!!:rotfl:

My word you ladies are talkative this morning!!

On the topic of working out. I "try" to get on the treadmil every day. Usually I just stick in a Friends DVD or watch an episode of Gilmore Girls, and off I go.

My sister and I were going to do the 5k Family Marathon in disney while we are down there, so I was "training" for that. However things have changed and we aren't going to be doing that anymore. I haven't decided yet if I'm disapointed or not:rotfl:

Alright everyone. Have a great day. I'm off to the wonderful world of work. Here's praying I don't hurt anyone for being a moron.:wizard:

Mornin' Y'all!

Where is this spreadsheet everyone is talking about:confused3 I need to go check it out.

Good morning Snowbirds! :goodvibes

Sharadoc - Can you PM me the spreadsheet please?

Good morning all,

Mindy, I have the spreadsheet and can e-mail to any and all who would like it. Let me know if it's okay to put your e-mail address in the TO section, or if you want me to keep it on the BCC. I'll set up a mail list and send out updated versions on Sunday night or Monday (depending on how busy my weekend is ;) )

Shelly, I don't know how to do it with a PM, only with an e-mail. Let me know if I'm missing something!

I was wondering why you were there. You and your family are such wonderful people to give so much to others. :flower3:

I finally got around to taking pictures of my pictures (so they aren't the best quality)

Here's me my hubby in 2001 at Crystal Palace while on our honeymoon...

And here's my son and I on the ferry boat at Magic kingdom in 2004. He was 6 months...

You do not look like you are 30! :goodvibes

Gilmore Girls has become my workout buddy too!:thumbsup2 Since I do 45 minutes, the episode is almost the perfect length. I started in season 1 and am almost finished with season 3. I've got all 7 seasons on dvd, so I should be set for awhile. Now, if I could just get that everyday ting down! I do 3-4 days a week. The bare minimum! See, I don't like pain. :lmao:

That's the last time I skip a whole day of the Snowbirds!

Hi I am from Clarence, we just moved here a few months ago and my DH says I am the Bills good luck charm. He has me cooking something during the 4th quarter to make sure they win .......

WELCOME!:cool1: :dance3:

We are a happy Snowbird family :goodvibes

So, I'm trying to talk DH into taking a second 2009 Disney trip. It might be hard to do because he doesn't have the same love for Disney. I want to go back in October over my birthday. It seems like it is nice time to visit. Do you think it's too much Disney?:confused3

:scared: I DID say too much Disney, but I should qualify that. Too much Disney for a man who doesn't share my love for Disney.

My inlaws already think I'm crazy because we will have been down 3 times in 4 years. My parents understand my obsession because it is their fault that I love Disney as much as I do. (and I am so thankful for that)

Here's a totally OT question for you all. I am going to be heading to my 15 year class reunion in November. We skipped the 10 year. I have NO CLUE what to wear. I hate dresses/skirts. I'm just not able to find anything that looks good on me.

Any good tips as to where I should shop. I want to look fantastic (like everyone who goes to their class reunion)

Hmm... it's definitely not too much Disney, but maybe you can find out if there's something else HE wants to do in Orlando, so he doesn't get bored. (boredom at Disney I don't understand, but to each his own...)
As for your class reunion, just pick something you like, and feel comfortable in.

I think we are there at the same time! :cool1: I'll have to double check the list to be sure. :thumbsup2
Hi Shelly,

I sent you a PM. I did put together a spread sheet of the entire month showing who is there each day.

I can send it to you, and to anyone else who wants it.

Hopefully that will help on the meets!
I want it!

checking in
128 more days

my only update is i did get a hotel on priceline for our first night before the timeshare starts, at a rate i am very happy with - $31.xx with tax at " Extended Stay America Orlando Convention Center"
we have decided to play everything else by ear popcorn::

so NO ADR's, no tour plans, the only things set in stone are -

we arrive at MCO Feb 5th, depart Feb 12 :surfweb:

we will tour MK on our Anniversary day monday 2/9

other plans that will happen during our trip ~~
Day trip to St Petersburg, Seaworld, and possibly a extra day at MK. Otherwise we will explore Olando, shop at DTD, pretty much enjoy our time :)

i am a little nearvous about this, but DH does not want a schedule, becasue of unforseen things like rain/ worn out from day before/etc. I have to respect his wishes :wizard:

so i will not have updates, at least till i get to double digit dancing ( in 29 days!)
or get my rental car booked ( will start trying end of November, using priceline)

Tina

You can schedule some ADRs, and then cancel them if you don't want them later on. Even if you only schedule a couple for the week it will probably make you feel better knowing something is planned.

Lucky you! I was already thinking of extending my trip but I already bought airfare :sad2: Guess I'll just have to get cracking on the Dec 09 plans!
I think making the intinary & planning is so much fun, not OCD! It's a pretrip bonus; make the time pass, have fun, and prepare a wonderful vacation!
I love the planning. I think my whole family thinks I'm crazy... but they'll appreciate the craziness.

No one has suggested a QOTD, either. I'm trying to think of one, but I can't think of anything with enough answers. How about this one - which character are YOU (not a family member, but YOU) planning to get a photo with?

My answer - a Power Ranger! DH and I are big fans of Japanese giant monster movies and TV shows, and have tapes of the old shows that Power Rangers is based on. When PW came on in the states, I was thrilled and have watched it since the beginning, mostly for the Japanese scenes of the giant fights! Everyone in the house likes to watch. I would like to get more than one, but I'd especially like Dino Thunder or SPD. :rotfl:

Second choice is a Star Wars character - probably a storm or clone trooper. We are also BIG Star Wars fans in our house. :yoda: :darth: :chewy: BUT NOT this guy :ewok:

I actually have a very awesome "picture with a Power Ranger story." On our last trip, we arrived at MGM (I can call it MGM, because it still was MGM then... haha!) a little late, and wanted to go see the Lights!, Motors!, Action! Show. There was one starting very soon...probably in about 5 minutes or something, so we were hurrying to get there before it started. However, as we were rushing over my brother saw the Green Power Ranger standing alone and beckoning to him (no line... poor Green Power Ranger) so he decided he should get a picture taken. Of course we were all like "Eric, come on, we're gonna miss the show," but we took his picture and hurried on. It was pixie dust that made him stop, because we made it to the show just as they opened the Handicapped Seating to everybody else, so we got to sit right up front. If we had gotten there 2 minutes sooner we would have been stuck in the back.
As for me... I love all the characters, and plan on getting pictures taken with every one I can.

I'm going to try and update weekly. Hopefully that will be enough. Then I can send out updated versions to everyone who requested one - will that work?

Do you know if there's a Mater to take a photo with? He's a car - can they do that?
Yes... Mater is in MGM

Oh, duh I forgot to post my question....
Do any of you snowbirds have annual passes?
I'm really starting to think of a Christmas trip in 09, so I think getting an AP would be a good deal.
What are some of the benifits to having an AP?

I am most likely getting an Annual Pass, because I'm already planning a second trip within the year. Also, I'm hoping that I might possibly get an AP room discount for my trip. Either way I'll probably end up with an AP at the end of my trip. I'm also hoping to fit a Birthday Trip in November. There are a lot of benefits to APs... to name a few
Free Parking at all the Parks. The ability to purchase a Disney Dining Experience Card which gives you 20% off TS meals in certain restaurants...this gets you free valet at the resorts for your meal. Obviously you get unlimited park entry for the year. I can't think of the other ones, but I'm pretty sure their are more.

Ha ha. I'm stuck right now. I only have through season 5. I'm waiting for them to go on sale because I can get them for half price, so I buy 2, which would be the last seasons. Oh well.

Guess what folks.....99 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woo Hoo!!!! Happy Birthday to me- I own a home day care and the little girl I care for was just picked up by her Grandfather...at 10:15AM!!! What a nice present for me!!! Now it's just me and my own two kiddos!!! :cloud9:

I have all 7 Seasons too, which come in handy, because I don't have cable, so I watch Gilmore Girls instead. I started in August and I am on Season 6 now. Then I'll either have to start over, or get something else. I like to put it on while I'm cleaning, or just relaxing. I was doing Yoga for exercise, but I hurt something in my back, so I had to stop for a while, and I haven't started again. It's ok though, because I walk a TON while working.

Well...Snowbirds! I have to return to work, hopefully it has warmed up since I was out earlier. My hands were about to freeze off. I'm going to have to pull out my winter gear to work in the mornings pretty soon.

Yeah- other Gilmore Girls fans! Gilmore Girls is on here at 11am.
Perhaps I'll make myself a cup of tea and watch it while I scrapbook. :cloud9:
Oh wait- I have kids!
Well I can dream can't I? There's always naptime:yay:

Peaches-
I just noticed your Signature. It's so cute!:hippie:

I'm glad you said something. I was undecided. I thought maybe it was a bit too over the top. Too jumpy. :lmao: I think I'll leave it and change out the pictures every couple of days or so.

Wow I had to read like 13 pages this morning!! I totally skipped yesterday--I can't do that againg--it takes toooo long!!! I also wasn't paying attention as I went, not doing the multi-quote, so, bear with me!!

Monny2AE, loved your pictures--you are very pretty!! And Happy Late Birthday!!! Also, we looooove Trouble with Angels--forgot to list that one.

Sharadoc~I would love your spreadsheet!Maybe someone can tell you how to send it-I am comp. illiterate!!!

Peach3s~ Love your story!!! I am so proud of you!!:flower3: How did this come about? Do you just apply as a missionary and get a full-time position? Very cool!!! God is good isn't He?!?!?! What is your weather like over there?

Momof2DisneyBoys~ I know what you mean about having to keep it all hidden from the kids!! Makes it a little hard to get things organized! I am not counting my days yet----I am riding on ya'lls coattails!!!;) I am going a few days behind most of you, so when you hit your 99, I will figure up how far I am behind you!:goodvibes Love it!!

Okay, we did get to see Fireproof last night. AWESOME:woohoo: Ya'll should all go!! I love all three of those guys movies. Really, it was amazing!! Can't say enough about it. Of course, Kirk Cameron is just a cutie-pie and he's a great actor. I don't know if ya'll know, but he's been a Christian for awhile now and done lots of tv stuff for the Lord. So, he's really sincere--probably helps in acting:lmao:

Bella~I think you would have made a great Cindy!! I know what you mean about the princesses not 'matching' the role. My dd last Jan saw the Belle in the ToonTown thing and did not like her. I could tell ya'll what she said, but I would hate to hurt that poor girls feelings!! Should I go ahead and say it? Now remember, my dd is very observant and notices things most kids wouldn't even know to look for. Anyway, I too love Aurora and she never looks 'right'. Step-Mother from Cindy (the one we saw in Jan.) was beautiful!!! She had the most perfect skin and shaped face I may have ever seen. Dh even commented on her beauty, and he doesn't really go around doing that!! And the Jasmine's are just drop-dead gorgeous.YIKES!! I would hate to compete for something like that!!

Good Morning, Snowbirds! :cool1::cool1:

And it's my 30th Birthday today!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: My hubby gave me a new Nkion digital camera for Disney! He couldn't wait and let the kids give it to me early last night! I'm so excited now I can get my pic with Mickey with my new camera:woohoo: ! The most exciting part was that he said it was for WHEN WE GO TO DISNEY! He's not as obsessed as I am with Disney and is worried to be spending money in this crazy economy but he'll come around. Last time he was a big kid the whole time we were there.

:bday: Kim! Have a magical day! pixiedust:

http://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html
here my little snowy bird friends. Let this do the work for you!

This is so fun! :thumbsup2 (OK, I'm easily amused!) I have 111 days left. And, I am 14,494 days old today! Wow! :upsidedow

AND...I now know how to multi-quote! Thanks! :woohoo:

QOTD: Pluto! My earliest memory of WDW (from 1972 or 1973, when WDW and I were young :rolleyes1 ) is Pluto patting me on the head. I thought it was so funny that a dog was patting ME on the head, instead of the other way around!

Exercize...hmmm...well, I do walk the boys to school, pushing the stroller...but it's only a 5-minute walk, so it probably doesn't do me a whole lot of good. What I should do is keep walking after I drop them off, instead of coming home to DIS!
