Just be on the look-out for Disco Dale! This guy's been seen around these parts and he's creepin' everyone out!:lmao:

Yeah, but then Trixiequilts sent a CLOWN! "shudder" It's like running from one horror to another!!! :scared1:

And yes, we PA-ers are taking over the World!!!! We're the best state in the union, so we're entitled!! :rotfl:

I think I mentioned this - oh about 100 pages ago - that PA sends the highest number of visitors to Disney World every year. That's why we get all the characters in our Thanksgiving parade in Philly.

Hey Bella!

I bid on a Vera Bradley hipster on ebay today, but I lost the auction! Oh noooo! There's another one which ends in 2 days though, so hopefully I might win that one!

I think I've decided on the pink elephants bag. It's cute, but mostly black which goes with anything, right!? :thumbsup2

Pooey! I'm glad you decided on pink elephant. It's my favorite! Trixie let me know that they are 40% off on the VB site. You might have better luck (and not have to battle it out in a bidding war) there. :goodvibes

Weird! :rotfl2: Every town's got 'em. We had special names for many people growing up. We called them the 10 Most Famous People in Shamokin!:lmao:

Where are all the party people in the place????

Woot Woot!!!! It's 8 in the mornin' and I'm ready to go!

:jumping1:

Eeewwww. Clowns. Blech. Creepy!

I didn't read that the first time you shared. Yes, well, PA is quite the state. I didn't appreciate it enough while living there. Now I miss it like crazy! I need to see some fall foilage!

:jumping1:

Can we handle another Par-tay today? Two days in a row...it just might be too much!

:rockband: party: :jumping1: party: :cheer2: :cool1: party:

You can't stop it! You CAN NOT stop it!:lmao:

Okay -I've officially delurked!

Ready to be entertained because I don't feel like doing laundry! Bring on Disco Dale (am I weird that I think he's kind of cute?) :rolleyes1

PA is taking over the world! My father's family is from the philly area and have spread to many other states!

As for the toruists, I don't know. I've never failed to meet many Chi-town folks, which may be why the yearly state street pararde to kick-off the holidays always has the main Mouse. ;)

Anyway, I have a reason to PARTY! We can celebrate my office computer being on low disk space!!!!!!
:cool1:   :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I cannot wait until Jan 6. My Disney clock says I should be there right now, as I always go in September. I'm throwing myself off waiting until January! But I just started college and I need to wait for winter break to go.

:welcome: to the newest Snowbirds! :cool1:

Tell us your dates and I will get you added to the list! :thumbsup2

Thanks - I'm Jan 22-27 at WL. It will be our first time there. Our first trip to Disney was Feb of this year and we stayed at the GF because DH really wanted a monorail resort for the kids.

We can't wait!

How desperate are we for a party when we are dancing because of low disc space???:rotfl: :lmao:

Oh, yes. And we will begin by forcing everyone to refer to our state as PA. NOT Pennsylvania. PA. Does anyone else do that? We don't walk around saying, "I'm from CA" or "I'm from MA" do we? Someone in college asked me this. PA isn't the longest state name in the US. Why is the abbreviation standard for us to use? Because we are taking over the world. We are controlling the minds of millions, forcing them to conform to PA standards. Watch out...you could be next! bwahahahahaa!:rolleyes1

That's funny! I also heard that Pennsylvanians are the only ones who measure distance in time, not miles. . . . Like instead of saying that the nearest Disney Store is 50 miles away, we say it's 45 minutes away!! :rotfl: I thought that was normal!

I didn't know that. . . That's very interesting though! I bet it's because we are known for our 4 seasons around here - Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Road Construction!!! :lmao:

That's not normal? Really? I never even thought about it! I always measure by time it takes rather than mileage. Hmmm...I have to ask some friends around here if they think that's weird. :rotfl:

I always thought that is was normal to measure in time b/c in Chicago milage is no indication of how long travel time actually is, but when I moved to N. Wisconsin and asked how far a place was and some would say "40 miles" I would reply with "yeah, but how far is it?" :confused3: waiting for a time.
Then I learned in the boonies milage=driving time.

Wow, this is a happenin' place!
May I join the party and become a Snowbird? :cool1:
We'll be at Shades of Green January 19-25. I can't wait!! We haven't been to WDW since 2004, so we're long overdue.

I read the first five pages of the thread, and then skipped to the last five pages :surfweb: Don't think I'll be able to catch up on everything in between! :scared1: But I'm looking forward to planning with you!

WELCOME Plutofan!! :goodvibes You sure can join the party! :cool1: The Snowbirds are great and we have a lot of fun here!!

Count me in. I'm heading to DW on Jan 17-24, hopefully. We have reservations already made to stay at PC for March, was waiting for my 180 day mark so I could make the ADRs. Found out last week that my brother got a new contract at his place of work and gets another weeks vacation, so we are hoping to go in January. I do know that the rooms are available, and hoping that I will be able to get the ADR, were all doing the DP. I will save around 500.00 going in Jan instead of March, so thats good. I will be waiting for my travel agent to return in the next few days and seeing what can be done with the ADR. What is the latest that the parks stay open in January? Its been 25 years since I was there, they were just starting to build Epcot, I have alot to see and catch up on:cool1:

YAY another Snowbird!! :cool1: And another one from PA!! :rotfl:

WELCOME to the Snowbirds! :goodvibes

Looks like MK is open until 7 or 8 most nights. . . Epcot is always open until 9. . . DHS looks like 7 or 8 also. . . AK is mostly 5 I think.
