Question of the Day. . .

Today, just made my ADR's. . . That's about it for today I think. Busy weekend here, more planning next week for sure!

What Disney stuff have I done today? I've read here and joined a POP fridge swap and corrected the dates I joined a stroller swap for since I gave them my original date we were planning before cutting back by one day.

Not too much...but enough to keep me excited about our trip!

Okay, the Visa thing said the 10% discount is good until 9/30/09, but can't be combined with any other offer. I did use the code for the $5 shipping, so that makes sense! Thanks everybody!

I live in the South Hills but work north of the city. You know there are soooo many Disheads in Pittsburgh we really need to get a meet n greet going sometime....and especially since Steel City is the home of Disney's Chief Magical Official!!!

Yes I think January is the perfect time for WDW. We originally were going next May on our actual anniversary but decided to not rock the boat and go when I know we most enjoy it. Also another heads up, in looking over the changes for EMH from MK and DHS compared to 2008 hours. I believe we will see another press event happening end of January due to the American Idol attraction opening. This happened 2 years ago while I was there when Nemo the ride and musical officially opened and the night stays at Cinderella castle began. Fun times and cool collector pins!! Plus extra security...... So do you have your audition song picked out yet????

My biggest beef with this upcoming trip is the closure of pleasure island, in particular the Adventurer's Club.......boy I love that place.

Yes, I have "met" lots of Pittsburghers on the DIS!!

Our anniversary is also in May. We just celebrated our 10th at WDW in May! We went May 2007 and the weather was great and the crowds were minimal. This May (2008) was VERY HOT (94-95 most days ) and the crowds were higher. SO, that has made us decide on trying January!

And that's how I became a Snowbird!

I can't answer the question of the day.....b/c I've done nothing disney I really, really need to call WL IPO, I still need to book HDDR, but if I whip the cc out, I'll just start ordering like crazy! We're going to celebrate DS 13th bday while there....anyone have any ideas? His fav park is MK, where will be on our 2nd day. Should I order a cake to be served at dinner? Would a 13yr old boy want a cake or bday button? Should I have the club staff decorate our room? Should I order a gift basket from the disney florist? What to do, what to do. Maybe we should just let him schedule out our MK list and do what he wants, when he wants and then have a cake w/POTC on it served after dinner at Tony's...which is the restaurant DS picked. Any advice Snowbirds?

My DH and I were married at the Yacht club this past spring and we have been desperate to get back to the world ever since!

Well I have been reading the boards.. still trying to figure where we will eat! We are going on the cruise beforehand and then getting back on Thursday and planning to do MK since it is open till 8 and then Friday doing AK in the am and then HS in the afternoon.. pushing the envelope some on that day but want to touch just a few things at each to experience them! Also tried the shopping thing online and I would add something and then it would be gone!! Really weird since I had put it in our checkout bag!! So alas we are going to check the store tomorrow!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! And that Six and family are having a wonderful time in WDW and surviving the heat!

Busy weekend here. . . We had DH's company family picnic last night, today we have T-ball, a B-day party, and friends coming over for dinner tonight! Hopefully tomorrow will just bring church and relaxing afterwards.

That's a tough one SplashMtn. . . A 13 year old boy. . . My 9 year old is getting hard to buy for and plan for, I can't imagine him when he's 13!
