In one of the father's monologues in Carousel of Progress, he states Pittsburgh by name. The second, look at the name plate on the scenery holding the Andrew Carnegie animatronic from the American Adventure show. It is Pittsburgh. Always nice to see a little bit of home in Mouseland!

Well I've only been on the Carousel of Progress once and must have missed that! And I've never seen the American Adventure show.

Yes, 3 trips and I still have not seen everything there is to see at Disney!

I had a DW dream last night. I was the only one there having a great time. I told my FI about it, he wasn't too happy...he told me I should "Lay off the Disney stuff" and that "you're more excited about this trip, then the wedding."

Guess he's right! I would much rather go to DW then have to have this big wedding, that I really didn't want to have! lol.

Sounds like a pretty great dream to me!!

That is so funny, it is not too common. My real name is Evonne and most people do not call me that. I get called a lot of different things

Thanks for the report on HDD and WC. I alway return to HDD. I love the show and I love the food! The fried chicken and strawberry shortcake are so good! I went to the Luau when I was 14 and don't remember it at all. (Which says alot to me.)

We had a fab time here, we were in first row and my DH got picked to be in the show which was hilarious. They also will make you any other food if you call ahead of time, which was nice. I had fish and my kids got some fries.

I'm so sad to hear some had bad experiences at the Luau. Is it really not worth it?

If you are on the deluxe plan and need to use 2 credits, I think you are not really losing anything, but if you are paying out of pocket, there are better choices. Actually Konas and Ohanas much better food. That is just my opinion. There may be others out there who love it.

I didn't realize their schedule was opening up today! I had it marked for the 26th or something on my calendar.
That Ding! caught me by surprise.
But I grabbed our airfare- so no going back now! It was $129 one-way from BDL to MCO. I can live with that. Although a lower ding rate would be nice!

pooh! I did not see any ding for me. But we live in Oregon and there are just not great dings from here to Orlando. I could go to Disneyland for cheap though!

I think we are waiting about 1-2 more months before getting our tickets.

I didn't realize their schedule was opening up today! I had it marked for the 26th or something on my calendar.
That Ding! caught me by surprise.
But I grabbed our airfare- so no going back now! It was $129 one-way from BDL to MCO. I can live with that. Although a lower ding rate would be nice!

I checked SW rates this morning even though I already bought my tickets with AirTran. I got mine for $85 with AirTran, SW is at $109 right now. Guess I got a good deal!

I'm sure you'll get a lower ding when it gets a little closer!

Yeah, I would have jumped on that $85!
I hope a ding comes out as the dates get a little bit closer.
We have $260 RT pp.
I'm just happy that we're not driving DH actually wanted to drive.. but we are coming from CT and I wasn't looking forward to that with a baby who still hates the car!

o, good to know. My dates have been available through Southwest becauseI am going at the beginning of Jan. Though there never was any good deals. The best they had when the opened was 166 one way! Now it is up to 230 one way. OUCH. I will probably go through Delta if Southwest doesn't work on those prices. I wish I could afford United or Alaska, they have better times for the West Coast.

WOW I guess I'm lucky to have gotten them for $85. And I thought that was high! We usually only pay $69-$74!

Y'all are killing me with the flights! I thought by living at the Northwest hub, only a two hour flight away from Orlando, I could get a good deal but no.... I'm at 250 a piece! I've checked since May, too! Same price no matter what! This seems standard - apparently I pay this no matter where I go - Boston, San Diego...maybe they know me?

And Air Tran and Southwest are even worse! At least the flights are both non-stop....and at least the flights are sending me to Mickey...

Still haven't gotten below the 5 month mark but it's coming soon....

Yes, we are. It's wild! My best friend in up-state New York was just telling me about her flight this past Saturday cost $85 one way. What's wrong with this picture?

I got $184 each (total) on NWA out of Detriot, but the times are otherwise terrible for sane human beings!!!

And right now, Boston (where my folks are) is $350. Egads!
