That was a close one Laumau!

So what time did you get your ADR for MM Fantasmic?

You're tellin' me!! That was so close! We could so easily have been completely dinked!

I got it for 3:55. Our original one was for 4pm, so basically the same.

We're doing it on Monday, 1/5 and Fantasmic is at 6:30pm on the calendar. This is the only part that stinks because I would rather do dinner afterwards, but we had to do it between 3:30-4pm and we got 3:45. I think we could have gotten it a little after 4pm, but we would have been split between 2 tables (7 of us). So, it's more like a late lunch, early dinner. It'll be ok though.

Oh my gosh- we'll see you there! Our ADR at Mama Melrose is at 3:55!

We're booked for the fantasmic package on the 5th, too :)

And our trip is scheduled for 1/23-1/30. We're hanging off another month or so to make ressies until we get a final headcount. My fiance and I are taking our neices with this time and would like to include our nephew (who lives much farther away).

We're planning on staying at CBR. I've never stayed there before and am excited about it. :P

Another one! Fun! :yay:

We'll have to look for each other :)

I'm jealous that you're doing the half marathon, btw! I missed the sign ups and I was so bummed. Definitely next year, though. I can't wait :cool1:

What do you all think of 50s Prime Time? We've never tried it before and I made an ADR for dinner. Not sure whether we should keep it or not.

Yes, we'll all have to wear something distinctive like the DIS color lime green or something like that! :cheer2:

Jealous? :rotfl2:

No, really I can't believe how fast that filled up! My SIL and I (miabellarose on here) signed up back in February or March. Some friends of ours were going to sign up in April and it was completely full! I couldn't believe it. It's my first *real* race and I'm excited... so long as I don't get swept off the course for going too slow. :)

My SIL said that someone on here posted that they get lime green mickey heads from the paint section of Home Depot. I've never looked for them before, but we'll have to go pick up some of those or something. :)

I can't speak from personal experience, but everyone I asked on another board I frequent said they really enjoyed it! We booked our dinner meal for our day at DHS. It sounds like fun, though I don't think dh's going to like it so much! He's not really into interacting with the characters!:rolleyes1

50s PTC is a must for us each vacation. My DH loves the pot roast and I have to do lunch so I can get the chicken pot pie (not available at dinner). I have heard that the waitstaff is hit or miss on how much they play along, but we have always gotten a great one.

The time we had cousin Jenny she named everyone - I was Sweet Pea, my DD was Honey Bun, my DH was Skippy, and... I'd have to go back and look at my scrapbook to remember the rest. My DH didn't want his green beans so he made a white "I surrender" flag out of a fork and a sugar packet and stuck it into the beans. Cousin Jenny picked it up for the whole section we were sitting in to see and said, "Skippy here doesn't want to eat his green beans, so..." he got them airplaned into his mouth!! Too funny:rotfl2:

My kids like the dessert menus because they are on viewfinders. I have some great photos of everyone looking over their "menus".

I think it is one of the best places to eat at DHS (formerly known as MGM :upsidedow ).

We will be at CBR Jan 21-27!! :goodvibes It's our second time there. We LOVE :lovestruc it! It's like a vacation within a vacation. Love the tropical Caribbean feel to it! Make sure to schedule some "down time" to enjoy the resort!

We are continually focused on providing the best possible experiences for our Guests who visit the Walt Disney World® Resort. Within the last six months, we have added significant new attractions and shows at Disney’s Hollywood Studios™, including Block Party Bash, Toy Story Midway Mania!, Pixar Place and Journey Into Narnia: Prince Caspian.

Coming in October 2008 will be the recently announced “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” and later this year, Disney’s Hollywood Studios™ will host the annual Night of Joy event for the first time and welcome back ABC Super Soap Weekend. At the same time, we have continued to update existing offerings such as Playhouse Disney—Live On Stage! Next year, the park will unveil The American Idol Experience, host the first Grad Nite events at Disney’s Hollywood Studios™ and welcome back ESPN: The Weekend and Star Wars Weekends.

We regularly evaluate and refine our operations. At the same time we unveil The American Idol Experience in January 2009, we will make an adjustment to our operation by offering Fantasmic! on select evenings each week. Fantasmic! will be performed two times weekly –generally Mondays and Thursdays - and more often during our busiest times of the year.

On nights when Fantasmic! is not performed, Guests (with appropriate ticket media) will continue to have the opportunity to enjoy nightly fireworks spectaculars such as Wishes at the Magic Kingdom® Park and IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot®.

Showtimes will be published for Guests in the Times Guide, which is available at the theme parks, and online at disneyworld.com (end quote)

Check out a thread I started on the Dining Plan forum. I figured all the costs of the places we were planning on eating, what we would order and comparing it to the total cost of the dining plan. THEN I added up all the desserts that we probably wouldn't order without the DDP and the difference between some of the TS restaurants we would probably switch to CS and came up with a total!

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1890852

The DDP is a good value for us.:thumbsup2

Your thread looks good Missmagnolia! :goodvibes You are very organized!

I did all the totals before we went in May and decided that it was a good deal for us too for now, until DS turns 10 and will be charged as an adult, then it will no longer be a good deal for us.
