How do you get pin codes? I've signed up on wdw's webdsite, but have only gotten spam from them.....

That's probably a million dollar question! But in my case, it came about 5 days after I went onto the website, updated my profile, and ordered a new vacation video! So maybe that worked!

FWIW, I just got off the phone with a CM. I asked about codes/pins for my name -nothing doing. He quoted me a rack rate which is about $200 over what AAA can do for me right now. I asked if he expected a code for January to come out sometime between now and January. He said "I would be surprised if one did not."

Someone may correct me, but I believe that you can book a package but only through an AAA agent. If you want the AAA rate on the room only, you can book directly with Disney.

You're right. I booked my AAA room only myself then transferred it over to Dreams Unlimited so that they can keep an eye out for a better code.

I talked to CRO and the nice lady said that the pirate princess party dates should be coming out very soon.. to keep checking back.. so maybe everything will start rolling soon.. I hope so.. I want a discount code!

I am happy for those still looking for codes for 2007 but I am sad for those of us waiting for January codes. I was hoping since the code recently expired for 2007 bookings they might release something soon for those of us going in Jan. Guess we have to WAIT longer.

For those of you who have been at the end of January before, how are the crowds? Do you still need to pay attention to the best day of the week to attend certain parks? How are the crowds during EMHs?

Does anyone know if they are as light as the beginning of September (after Labor Day)?

Also, how do you make a touring plan if you don't know what time shows are?

My package is due in Mid November. If i pay it and then a code comes out later can i apply the code then?

In answer to your question, not exactly. You have been signed up to get emailed any responses by DIS'ers who have subscribed to this thread, as long as you log into the DISbaords every day. If you don't get a chance to log in, never fear, you can just get back into this thread and catch up on what you missed. Those of us who are waiting for codes will be posting their availability as soon as we hear of them. In the past few years, public codes for Jan/Feb have become available in November, but there's always a chance they will release them early

I am curious about this comparison too. I haven't been at the end of Jan before, I was there a few years ago on MLK weekend. It was slightly busier than Sept., with FP machines open, and some lines at the 60 minute mark later in the day, but we didn't wait more than 20 for any ride, and most of the FP rides were walk on. I assume it would be better than MLK at the end of Jan, though. So here's a bump! Anyone else????
