January 20, 2013 - 4 Night Bahamian Cruise

This will be our first cruise. I had read about FE but was not sure how this worked. All I knew was I was going to make one and bring gifts. My DH an I even went shopping this weekend and decided what we were going to make. I am so glad I logged in and found this thread.

Did they charge you to change cabins? I was told it would be $95 to make any changes to the reservation. I really wanted a higher deck but my DH really really wanted to have the first veranda on one of the floors so all we could get was deck 6. Since it's our first cruise I guess you don't know what you don't know and we will be happy no matter where we stay. I was just curious if they charge you to change room numbers.

It is our first cruise too and after doing more research I decided it was worth a little more money to get a bigger cabin on a higher deck.

So far 5 cabins are signed up for FE.... The more the merrier...

getting soooo excited! first cruise and it's killing me that I can't talk about it around my girls since it's a surprise (c'mon Christmas! lol). whooo hooo!
I'm on deck 10 since I wanted to be high up and thought if we're going to do it, might as well do it great! Although I've read that the chairs being moved around on deck 11 can be quite noisy at 6 am (not looking forward to that part) And I wish I had booked a port side room oh well, next time I guess

oh and the FE I was going to buy online is now sold out (it wasn't a custom one but it was cheap ). Anyone have any good ideas on where to get one custom or not. I'm not crafty AT ALL so please don't say how easy it is to make one LOL! It would be great to find one in Canada but that is unlikely I bet.

Hey Georgiasmom,

If you go to Disney Cruise Line Port Adventure page ( http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/cruises-destinations/shore-excursions/ ) you can select Nassau or Castaway Cay and see what excursions are offered. If you have questions on a particular excursion, don't hesitate to ask. I'm not an expert but we've been to Nassau 7 times and to Castaway Cay 4 times. I'm also sure there are others on the DisBoards that can answer them too.
