Anyone care to make predictions/educated guesses about crowds on January 2? I have the day off but does everyone else as well? Most annual passes are still blocked. I could also go on New Year's Day but would guess that would be worse. Would love to get on ToT one last time....

The one thing that might help, it is the day the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game will be played (Never on Sunday), and that should take a good chunk of visitors away for the park for the day, but my guess, will make New Years Day busier at Disneyland.

The 2nd is a national holiday, most people will have it off. Plus the blockouts end for some APs. But I think a lot of locals will come in later because of the parade. So the morning might be a little lighter than a block out lift day might usually be.

It looks like only Signature passports are back in the mix- Deluxe and So-Cal are still blocked. Will that help my cause? And thanks for the tip about the Rose Parade/Bowl- assumed they were on Sunday, so that helps to know.

Jan. 2 is the last day for Tower of Terror and the first day back for the Signature passholders. The morning might be light but I would expect the crowds to get heavier throughout the day

Every kid I know is still out of school on the 2nd. And when the kids are out, the crowds are in.
