Well, rain has - AGAIN - hit So Cal.

Here is a picture from another site, not my photo, of Main Street about 2 hours ago.

If posts on Twitter are to be believed, the 10:15pm WoC has been cancelled "due to low guest demand." Also posts have reported, "Tonight's 7:55pm show of 'Aladdin' has been cancelled "due to low guest demand." "

ETA: New "tweet" has just stated that both Fantasmic! shows have been cancelled tonight, as well.

We just don't do well in the rain in So Cal! ROFL!

ETA2: New "tweets" reporting "Believe... in Holidays Magic" fireworks have been cancelled for tonight. Pixar parade canceled. ElecTRONica has been moved inside.

All things considered, if you don't mind being in the rain, this would be a great time to get on rides with minimal waiting!

GRR i know about the rain--it sucks. i was so ready to go today and then BAM! the rain!! it was not cool..

I longingly looked at the ride times from my iphone today and wished I could be there. :sniff sniff: how I need a Disney fix....

Raining hard right now. There are some damp people at DL.

I'm watching all the people in their Disneyland rain ponchos that they bought in the park pouring out of the park, and on one is going back in it seems!

Courtesy of Hojo Wecam! :) Which, by the way, I LOVE their new high def. webcam it is so awesome, thanks Howard Johnson!! :)

I checked it a couple time too, it was fine in the AM but I think I looked again around 3:45 PST and it had turned to rain and people were only going out.

In the early evening you could see trees and flags being whipped around by the wind. Not a good sign for the night shows.

SoCal was beautiful this morning! DH and I went out for a long 2 hour walk on the beach! Then we went for lunch! Got groceries and returned home! All of a sudden it got really dark (around 2pm) and started pouring rain. :headache:

It's 8:15pm now and it is crazzzzy raining so hard! Actually pounding down outside!

I think everyone in SoCal will agree with me that we have had just about enough of this crap.

We were there today. I loved my first rainy Disneyland day but I'm a little crazy. I guess it's a good thing we went and saw Aladdin at 6:20 instead of 7:55 :rotfl:

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I'll remind you of this next time you have a drought there. ;)

You know, I don't mind rain at all. I am from the east coast where it rains allot but this is different, people are losing their homes as a result of mudslides and flooding from all this intense fierce rain. It is slamming down rain as I type this post.
Bring on the dry weather, please!!!!

I hate the rain, but in DLR I think I would love it!
I'm going next week, and as of now, the 10 day forecast says rain both days I will be there...part of me is wanting rain (a Monday & Tuesday during off season, holiday crowds are gone, most kids back in school, PLUS rain would mean absolutely NO LINES!)
but part of me just wants to see the sun! (it's been rainy here where I live too!)
either way, I CAN'T WAIT!
I have decided that I need a DLR fix about every 3 months. :lmao:

i will second that opinion!
My kids go back to school next week, and are bummed that they had to spend their entire winter vacation inside. The only days it was dry, we spent rebuilding our back fence that blew over in the storm.
I love the rain, i just wish it was more evenly distributed throughout the year!
Well... hopefully the rumors about Christmas going hard-ticket are just rumors so we can see the "snow" next year.

I was there Sunday. Peter Pan was a walk-on (with many boats being dispatched empty!) and guests, myself included, were being allowed to re-ride Indiana Jones, Thunder, Matterhorn, Space and Splash without getting off. It was that empty.

I've done DL in the rain and don't mind it much at all. Being able to ride anything you want with little or no wait, is the best.

Didn't I see on TV last night that Los Angeles had snow? Did any of that make it down to DL?

No, Disneyland only gets fake snow. the mountains of L.A. got plenty of snow, and the "grapevine" freeway 5, also got lots of snow, the city of L.A. no snow.

Yes you did and no it didn't. :)

Actually, Los Angeles County DID get snow the last few days. Valencia (near Magic Mountain) got light snow last night and the night before. People were SHOCKED to wake up and see their cars lightly covered in white.

BRRRRRR!

Well I hope it warms up soon. We have had below freezing temps for the past few days and we're hoping to find some sunshine on our trip! :cool2:

I was driving home yesturday from the Trinity Mountains and came across a lighted highway sign in Stockton that warned drivers of the closer of the grapvine on I-5 and to find and alternate route. How cool would that be to call into work on Monday that you're snowed in at Disneyland.:thumbsup2:lmao:
