We are suprising the kids w/ a 2 day trip to WDW on January 19th and 20th...anyone ever been there during that time frame? Just wondering how the crowds tend to be. Thanks!!!

We've been three times during that time frame and if you're looking for crowded parks and long waits this is not it. LOL It's a great time to go as far as crowds go. Short ride waits and hardly ever use fast pass because they don't even have them on. The only draw back is the temps. it can be nice and warm or cold, but it doesn't rain much in January so that's good. We'll be going back again this year from January 12th - 23rd. See ya there. I can second that! we went Jan. 22-29 earlier this year, and the parks were nice and quiet. We wore shorts every day and my kids swam every day, but we're hardy New Englanders. The only downside is the ride closures, but to us, it's worth the tradeoff. Enjoy!

I went last January and when I show folks my pics, they ask if the parks were even open, considering there are hardly any other people in them!

I highly suggest this time of year for your visit. Quite a few rides and attractions can be closed b/c winter is typically the time they do rehabs, but it's still worth it. Just check the WDW calendar when it's posted and you can plan a great trip!
