I'm not sure if there will be any interest in this, but we would like to offer to host the embarkation day meet-up in our Roy O. Disney suite. I need to place a great big asterisk beside that though - we will need to have a better idea of the number of people who plan to attend the meet-up before we would be able to say for sure. But I believe that the suite and verandah could handle a pretty decent-sized gathering. I’ve read on DIS of meet-ups of around 50 people being held there; I’m not sure if that’s about the upper limit one would want to have or if there would still be room for more. Anyway, If there's interest in this we could get firmer numbers closer to sailing and then decide.

That would be amazing! I agree, we definitely have to wait and see what our numbers are like before going ahead, and ultimately the call is up to you, but this would definitely be our first choice! Thank you so much for offering!

(That’s how we spell it in Canada too, neighbour. ) If the meet-up gets to be too large to hold at the suite I’ll plan a smaller get-together at a different time/day for those who are interested.

I know a few people have already expressed their interest in the meet up so I am going to start an official list to keep on top of names and numbers. Please could you comment if you're interested in going to the meet up and let me know how many in your party will be attending. I will update the "Who's cruising with us" post so we can keep track of how big the meet up group is getting.
The meet up will be a great experience, finally meeting everyone on the thread. It will also be where we add final room changes to the FE list for people who upgrade at the port etc (although if you cant make it to the meet up, Rhiannon and I will keep an up to date FE list on our door throughout the cruise)

This is all getting very exciting!
I love the pictures, keep them coming. It will make it much easier to spot the DISers once we get onboard

We are from the NZ! Yes there are a few "kiwis" on the cruise which is amazing when you think about the distance and odds. It's very cool the FE is being organised from here. Makes it a true international event!

There are a lot, which is awesome because I love Kiwis!! I contemplated moving to Auckland for a some time when I got back. I love Queenstown for a vacation, but to live, I thought Auckland was a better fit. When I get back in 2015, I will have to head to Wellington. I have heard that is an amazing town as well.

DD7 is already asking if any other 7 year old girls on our cruise yet! Would be great for the kids to meet up one day.

So far, there aren't any 9yo girls either. Samantha won't go into the kids club, but she wants to do the dolphin excursion, horseback riding and maybe we will head to the Mayan ruins. I wish more than one place offered horseback riding, but it looks like that is only offered in Cozumel. Which also seems to have the best dolphin excursion.

There will be more 7 and 9 year old girls. I just hope they find the boards
