January 15, 2006 / 1/15/2006 anyone?

We are terribly excited and new to all of this. I have read a lot and was under the understanding that Pirate's Night was the 2nd night of the 4 day cruise on the Wonder; however, I am thinking now it may be the 3rd. We have Palo ressies for the 2nd night of the cruise (Nassau day). I chose this because I thought the dinner rotation for the 2nd and 3rd nights is the same restaurant. Am I confused? can't imagine that! :) AND mostly I am just trying to figure it all out so that my kids don't miss anything big.
You guys are full of helpful information, so I am sure one of you can straighten me out!
Thanks, Laura

Hi Laura! I am not sure when pirate night is but I know my kids and looking forward to it, I still have to purchase some costumes though......

Hi Everyone,
Laura nice to meet you. I looked at the most recent navigators for the 4 night cruises. Pirate night was on the third night. I hope that helps you with your planning.

Luckily the weather was nice so we could have Blake's party outside and only about half of the class came. With everything going on I didn't make it out to pick up pirate costumes during Halloween clearance sales.

The van had to go back to the dealer (visit number 6 in 6 weeks). The same part had to be replaced that was replaced on the first time we took it in. The vam still is under warranty so we haven't had to pay anything out of pocket.

Jamie How did your small group meeting go with church? Talk to you soon.

Michele,
Thanks for the pirate night info....as far as costumes go to http://www.shindigz.com I was able to get 4 costumes for my kids for $27 Some were $7 and some are $6 if you use the code WINTER05 you can get $4.95 shipping.

Thanks for the info on the pirate costumes. I book marked the site so I can show it to Robert when he gets home tonight. The prices are really good. You can't beat costumes for 4 kids for 27.00.

Hello again!

Michele, I can't believe all the trouble with your van! Thank goodness for the warrenty - but STILL! What a pain in the neck to have it down so often! I mean, how can a person concentrate on their upcoming CRUISE with all those pesky car problems? :confused3

Oh - our church small group meeting went great. We only ended up with about 12 people total I think, so it was a nice group without feeling crowded at all.

Did you order the pirate costumes for your kids?? I can't remember if I mentioned it already or not, but I just ended up buying the boys pirate t-shirts while we were in WDW in Oct. Of course they will also have swords, eye patches and whatever other accessories I come up with by then. I am a little worried though that if they don't have full costumes they might be disappointed pirate: ...but for now that's my plan and I'm stickin' to it - (OK maybe).

Hope everyone here is having a good November - can't believe we are almost at 60 days now - woo hoo! Stay in touch!!

The days are dragging by sooo slowly!!

Hi Everyone :flower:
Robert didn't want to order costumes. I saw a cute picture posted of some adults dressed in red and white stripped shirts, eye patches, bandanas, parrots, hooks and swords. I may copy their look.

I can't believe Thanksgiving is almost here. What are your plans for the holiday? We're going to Robert's family for lunch and then have dinner with my family. Talk to you soon.

Its getting closer guys! I cant wait I have been looking forward to this cruise for a long time. 2 of my children have never sailed so this is going to be a big treat for them...My 5 year old son keeps asking if the boat is going to be bigger than our house ( YESS!!...lol) I am sure he is imagining a little fishing boat or something, even with me showing him pictures he still doesnt really comprehend how big it will be. Hopefully he will be able to find a friend in the club so he wont have to be stuck trailing his sister the whole time, they are too much allike and fight when stuck together for long periods of time ( more than 15 minutes) :rotfl:

Hi All,

Cann't wait to get on board and explore the ship. Michele has planned everything which is fine with me. DS(6) and DD(4) will have a great time, however DD(2) and DD(2) may be troublesome. Are the adults planning to dress full costume for pirate night? Michele mentioned that I will go all out but I have not made up my mind yet. I need to check out a few places before I decide what I am going to wear. If I do go all out then I can re-use for Halloween next year :teeth:

It has gotten really cold :cold: and I cann't wait for the cruise and warm weather.

Hi Robert & Michele,
I know how that weather goes, I am north of you in Ohio and am tired of the cold allready..lol
My husband & I are not going to dress up, my kids will be though.
Do you guys have the late or early dinner ?

Tiffany

Hi Tiffany,
We have 2nd dining. It now says on our resservation online a time of 8:30. What dining time do you have? I wanted to ask you how cold it is on the ship. I read a post saying to pack long sleeve and long pant PJ's to wear on the cruise because it's cold. I am starting to think about what to pack. Any tips?
Michele

Michele,
We have first seating for dinner.
I dont remember being cold on the boat except for during some of the shows and in the movie theatre, but at night we were never cold. So as far as what type of jammies I dont know maybe you could pack a warmer pair and a summer type pair. :confused3
Sorry I couldnt be of more help

Tiffany

No documents here either. We did get our paper work today for our trip to WDW after the cruise. We're also still waiting for our cabin numbers. It is snowing here today. Can't wait to go on vacation where it will hopefully be warm and sunny!!

Just popping in to say HI EVERYONE!!!

I too check everyday now for a room #...I think I'll be shocked by the reality of it all when I finally SEE one as this trip has been a secret so long it almost doesn't feel real to me! Only 11 more days till the secrets OUT - can't believe it!

"Happy (verrry belated) b-days" to your little ones by the way - Tiffany and Michele!

Talk to you all soon!
