January 14th 2006 Magic Western.............

Yeah 5 more days and 2 days of work.... I can't wait anymore.... Now we are going to have to find a way to watch the playoffs this weekend on the ship cause we gotta support our Carolina Panthers... I can't take that away from Chris... :earsboy: OK so I need to know if we get one step closer to the Super Bowl.... Sorry I will get off my soap box now...

My new dress came in for formal night so I am soooo excited to actually have a cocktail dress to wear.... It just can't get here soon enough... Well for those you going down early I wish you safe travels... :wizard: I will be flying down that early AM...

One of our reports and meterologists at my TV station just came back from the Western last week and they had a blast... Made me even more excited... Well I will just have to wait... :faint:

My mom posted a lot earlier on this thread but I figured I would say our last good bye! It'll be Me (20), my mom and dad, brother (30) and sister-in-law(29). We get picked up by an airport shuttle at 5:00 AM tomorrow. Then we are on our way to 4 nights at our Home Sweet Home (Beach Club Villas) and a great Cruise!! :) Hope to see some of you around the ship! :sunny:

Safe Travels everyone!

Boy, I wish I found this site a LONG time ago. I have a lot of catching up to do. My husband and I, his parents, his sister and her boyfriend are on the cruise. This will be our second, we went Eastern 2 years ago. We will be flying down on Friday and staying somewhere near the airport. I can't believe how fast it came. YEAH

Jess

Welcome JessCT!! Why don't you come and meet us day 1, deck 10 starboard side, after the muster drill?!?! Where a blue or yellow ribbon, yarn on your wrist! :teeth:

Ok, let the excitement begin!! I want to go NOW!!! But I guess I would have to finish packing, etc first... :rotfl2:

Think we can reach 400 posts before we go?? a little more than 30 and we will be there! Magic, here we come!!!!! :hyper:

Hello all, it's coming up quick. I am trying to fill out the documents and have a few questions that someone who has done this before can hopefully answer. On the Bahama Immigration card, what do I put for the day of arrival? The first day of the cruise, Jan. 14? Would travel agency be Disney Cruise Lines? What about city of travel agency? What about intended stay (nights) and hotel name? Gee, you need instructions on how to answer their questions. I appreciate any answers. I was hoping to have these all completed before we arrive at the terminal.

Hey guys  .... I think we may need some prayers and pixie dust :wizard: for our trip!!!! The forecast so far looks to be a bit cooler :cold: than normal and rain for Grand Cayman. :umbrella:

Grand Cayman is the only port we've booked an excursion for ... I'll be so bummed if we can't make it! :worried:

On the plus side, it looks like the seas should be fairly calm. But it is a full ship :crowded:

4 1/2 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!!! :boat:

Come on SUN :cool1: Bring us some WARM weather ::yes:: :goodvibes :cool2:

Goofymama, I KNOW the weather will be great!! But here is some pixie dust JIC. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Cynthia, I don't know if you saw this on another page or not..

I work in the terminal and would be happy to help you with this.

You will only need to fill out the top section (name, address, DOB, etc.) and will not need to enter your passport # unless you are a non-us citizen.

In the section with the ?'s regarding arriving by, etc... you will check the box "Discovery Cruises/Other" and you will enter the day you are either in Nassau or CC whichever is first. Under departing city enter: PC

You will not need to fill out the section which asks about travel agency, days in the bahamas, etc.

Make sure to sign at the bottom.

Oh yes and remember to fill out one per person, even small children.

Hope this helps!! :goodvibes

Alright, where is everyone?!?!

I would like to say packing, but since I am too busy worrying about where my passport and marriage certificate are (they aren't back from the Passport Agency yet), I haven't gotten to that yet!

We're still here, anxiously awaiting our departure on Friday and hoping and praying that Friday the 13th is not an unlucky day for us. I have a million things to do around here, but I'd rather spend time online, preparing, worrying, fretting, organizing, etc. the trip.

Chris

Pyramid2000, thanks for that link. I had not seen that. Actually, my DH called DCL today to ask about the docs and the answer he got was not the same. He was told by whoever he spoke with there to put the day we board the ship as the departure date, disney cruise line as the travel agency, length of stay = length of cruise, and Magic for the hotel. Who knows, we may get there and find out we filled our paperwork out all wrong. It seems like it would have been good to have more clarification on their document or some instructions on how you should answer the questions. I'm sure it would only take a moment if we have to fill out another form. Thanks for the reply.

I am actually searching for my DD's birth certificate. Her passport expired in October (Ooops!) and I seemed to have misplaced her BC. I am going tomarrow to get a new one if I can't find it. I hope they haven't changed the rules and I can get it right away!!!( :wizard: :wizard: for myself!)

Your welcome! :goodvibes I knew I had seen it recently. I'm not worrying about it either. In Sept. I hadn't even filled anything out before I got there and a fellow passenger was at the same table as me and told me what to put. It was more like what you were told, but others have said you only fill out the top and leave the rest blank!

Hi there.. I'm still here... One more day of work and 3 more days till I leave... I haven't even begun to pack.. I have thought it but I just haven't had time yet. I still have to Clean the house, settle the cats in for their week of fun at home, get the dog ready to stay at a friends, pack and I even have to find time to get my new Mustang into the shop to get it'd door handle fixed.... Too much to do, but luckily I have Thursday and Friday off to prepare... :rotfl2:

Well Heres to waiting a few more days....

Still here. One more day of work then we plan on taking off after school on Thursday. My son got his packet of work that has to be done during the cruise today. I thought it was very nice of her. She even photocopied the pages of all his books, so I wouldn't have to lug them on the ship.
I really need to pack!!!

Ok, we officially have to give our cruise a nickname! :rotfl:
How about the "Magic of Procrastination :upsidedow "!!

Is anyone packed?? :rotfl2:
