Eeyore77 - DH was really worried about how his injured foot would affect the trip, with all the walking we do, but he was fine. He got a little sore towards the end of each day, but my DDs and I graciously let him have a seat while we went on a ride or two.

Make sure you wear comfy shoes. DH loosened up the laces on his sneakers and wors cushioned socks.

Just think, if it bothers you while on the cruise, you can have a seat and let your fiancee get you a drink! What a life! Sit back and enjoy! :rotfl2:

Thanks everyone for the advice.... After just one day it is feeling better.. I can walk without wanting to cry that is.. :rotfl: And you know your right what is a vacation without a little pampering... Even if it is because your hurt... But really if it keeps up like it is I should be doing good.. Thank Goodness...

I have an 11:00 seating on Thursday I may or may not use. Let me know when you'll be at the port meeting up. I'll see if i can find any of you. I may or may not be there that early.
Gosh, I'm so up in the air about stuff for this cruise!! Sorry.

Welcome BigFatDog!! You are going to have a great time!!

We are doing a meet on deck 10, starbard (right) right after the muster drill. You can wear either a yellow or blue ribbon/yarn around the wrist for ID. Hope to see all of you there! Eeyore shouldn't be hard to miss with a broken toe?!? :rotfl:

Brunch would be good! Will you be at the terminal early (before boarding starts)? Maybe we can meet up there so we can try and book it! Right now, I have no idea which would be the best day. They are on sea days correct?

Yes, I think they are on sea days! I think either day would be fine with me.
We will be staying at Radisson the night before and wil be taking the 10am shuttle to the port. I will try to wear a yellow ribbon or something on my wrist for ID :earsgirl:

Yeah I was able to put a Tennis Shoe on today and walk like a real person.. Well Sorta!!! :cool1: Hopefully you will have to look for the short red head with the ribbon and not the poor girl with a limp.... :earboy2:

8days and only 5 days left of work.... I am soooo excited... I'll let the Banana on here do the happy dance for me....    :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :cloud9: LOL

Welcome luv2laugh! Glad you are joining us!!

I finally got my cabin assigned!! I don't have to hear "Do we have a room yet?" from my DD11 anymore! There is an amusing story to it all. I had origionally booked a Cat 10, I think we had room 1077. I then asked to be moved to 1039 so I was closer to the forward stairs as my friend's cabin was on deck 2. Well, a GTY 12 opened up so I said why not and downgraded, knowing I would at least get an 11. I saved just under $600 doing this. Well, I am now assigned 1049! Back to a Cat 10, still close to forward elevators, but also conveniant to mid, and saved $600! :cool1:

Hi :teeth: !

I'm Katherine, my husband is Drew, and this is our first cruise on DCL. We've been on a couple of other cruises on Princess, which we loved. We planned this cruise with some friends- hi Cheryl- and we are REALLY looking forward to it.

We are doing a private tour in Costa Maya to the ruins, then probably some snorkeling in GC. Don't have plans really except for a couple of spa treatments :cool1:

We're on deck 6 right next door to Cheryl :chat: , 2nd seating for dinner.

See y'all soon! it's after midnight so now it is 7 days!!!!!
