January 12, 2013 Eastern on the Fantasy

Hey Cruiseman -
What city in CA??:confused3
My DS just landed on the left coast this afternoon ; he has work at Lompoc.
He flies back home on 12/23.

Only 25 Days to go:dance3:

Im in Lancaster/Palmdale, like next to Santa Clarita and about an hour North of Los Angeles.
Lompoc is near Santa Barbara, yah? That's about 2 1/2 - 3 hours North of here.

Baddogchalet, I missed the mention of the meet-up in the atrium, so I'm not exactly sure who it's for. We also booked rather late and are not participating in the FE. We booked a VGT room and should hear pretty soon where our cabin is. We are also DVC members and are looking to go to the meet up that they hold.
This is getting very exciting, first Christmas and then comes the cruise!

The meet in the atrium is for everyone on the meet board/Facebook page. You do not have to be a FE participant to come :)

Welcome all the new cruisers!!

The more the merrier!

Our son Mark may be joining us as well. He's 23. Not sure how late you can add someone, I know it depends on capacity. I'm assuming our ship has room still, but since we're not ready to commit, I don't know how long I actually have before DCL cuts off.

OK just wanting to firm up exactly when we decided to do the group meeting? Last I remember seeing it was around 2pm on debarkation day? Unless I am confused.

I started rereading the thread, but with so many pages it was daunting.

So what was the plan?

3pm on Embarkation Day :) In the Atrium. SOOOO looking forward to this cruise. I just finished wrapping my Grandbabies Christmas gifts. They are ALL Clothes specifically for this cruise. Since babies grow so fast, their 0 -3mth clothes from last summer will NOT fit them now :) It was so much fun shopping for summer outfits ect. for them.
Is everyone else pretty much ready for Christmas?

In St Thomas/St John we are doing the St John Trunk Bay Beach and Snorkel Tour  and in San Juan we are doing the El Yunque Rainforest Tour and Hike :cool1: We have Remy dinner, Palo dinner and Palo brunch booked as well. Counting down the days, only 17 days until boarding! :dance3:

Ohhhh yay! We are doing the same thing! Two 7day back to backs starting 1/5 - 1/19

:welcome: We are in the final week of our Countdown now to when we leave our driveway to head to FL. What time is your rainforest Hike at? My youngest son and I are also doing that, and we have a really early morning start. (like 7:30 or something like that). I was wondering if they had other times, that were just filled when we booked the tour :)

My daughter and I are signed up for the Rainforest Hike too. I think that there is only one time in the morning. I think it is great because we'll have time afterwards to walk around Old San Juan. :) Getting really excited.

The El Yunque Rainforest Hike tour we are on starts at 7:30 and we are pretty sure that is the only time offered for that tour. It will be neat to see the only tropical rainforest in the US National Forest System! What is everyone else doing in St. Thomas and Castaway Cay? Anyone else on the Trunk Bay Beach and Snorkel Tour in St. John that we are doing? Has anyone been to Remy for dinner? If so, is it worth it? Counting down the days, 13 to go!! :):yay::goodvibes
