January 12, 2013 Eastern on the Fantasy

Sounds good, TJ::yes::
Do you dabble in photography? Can you make me look like George Clooney ??:confused3

LOL, don't know about making you look like George Clooney but I do have a pretty good DSLR Camera and tripod. Hopefully I can set it and get a CM to snap the group photo. Unless some else is more of a professional at pic taking, step on up :)

I'M PAID IN FULL!!! What a great feeling it is to say that :cheer2:

YesYes; that's a wonderful feeling!pixiedust:
& I just got my Concierge email and phone call - telling us we can start booking excursions, spa treatments, and dining in 2 DAYS!:cool1:

My fiance just booked this cruise for our honeymoon! :cool1: I'm sooo excited and can't wait, but first the DFTW!

I love the idea of a group photo! I think that it might be best to have the meet an greet on the first day at 3. This way we can all put faces to the names and smile, wave and chat as we all pass in the halls, stand in line for the aquaduck and toast our dod:wave2: Only about a month till we can start booking our excursions, etc:yay:

I booked the zipline & kayak tour in San Juan.
DW booked the city tour of Old & New San Juan.
On CC , I booked the watercraft, single rider.
Nothing booked for St.Thomas - think we might book Fast Ferry to Tortola on our own.

Thought about Cabanas on Serenity Bay, but they're $400.:scratchin
I can book early, with concierge privileges, if anyone wants to share the cabana with us, to cut the cost. 1 more couple takes it to $200 per couple, 2 more couples is only $133 per couple.
(Max is 6 persons)

Now I'm getting excited about this countdown!

We're considering the zipline excursion in San Juan as well..I hope it doesn't fill up before we can book it in October!

We are paid in full too and were able to book last night. :cool1: We are taking the city tour in St. Thomas and my husband and oldest daughter are taking the kayaking excursion in Puerto Rico.

Hard to believe that we sail in 4 months :thumbsup2

Vicki

I would LOVE to capture a GROUP photo too at the meet and Greet! Atrium is great for that, as there are the stairs to stand the group on so people in back can be seen as well. :thumbsup2

A group photo and meet on our 1st day would be great! On our cruise with you in Oct., the group photo turned out awesome. Also, congrats on your daughter getting married last month. :) Hope they are all doing well.

Vicki

I'm not against a Greet and Meet and group photo, I just don't know that'll I'll be there.

Apparently, at this point, I'm the only one in the family who's excited to get to know other cruisers in advance. My wife flops back and forth - the FE exchange is motivating here more than anything.

My sister seems to want to remain her hermit self. Even so far as not being interested in decorating her door or participating in the FE. Which is weird, considering she used to be a Disney Store CM and is a huge Donald Duck fan.

So please schedule a greet and meet, I'll try to be there if I can and bring along some of my family.

I'm hoping as we get closer to cruise day they'll warm up.

No takers for the Cabana on Castaway cay at Serenity Bay?
Have any of you rented a Cabana there before? Are they not worth the money??:confused3

They look great. I am just traveling alone with my daughter so a cabana at Serenity Bay wouldn't get any use from us :) Now the Family Beach is another question :) Hope you find some takers.

Grrr - I'm getting frustrated, and maybe one of the previous cruisers here can give me the answer. I cannot, for the life of me, find out what best width for a Fish Extender is. I've seen anywhere from 8" to 12" wide. I don't want it to stick out in the passageway, but I would like it to be as wide as possible.

We will be with our kids so will be spending more time on the family beach. Hope you find someone to share because that's a great deal!

Hello, we have decided to join this cruise. We are DH Rob, Kim and DS Henry (9), our DD14 will be staying at home for this one. Our original cruise was the June 8 Med sailing, but we were concerned about the rising airfare, so we switched to this one, which will actually be a nice winter distraction. This will be our 10th on DCL, first on the Fantasy, with the other ones on the Magic and Wonder. DH and I sailed last January on the Eastern on the Magic and had a great time. We are really excited about sailing on the Fantasy, DS is already planning out our days. Our cabin is a gty, so who knows where we will be. We are interested in the FE exchange, but I will have to see if I have time to get something together. Is there a deadline?
