Hi! I'm going to be doing Attractions in the Spring 2010 program and I'm hoping I can find a roommate (even though it's getting late in the game, eek!). Here's the roommate survey that I've seen floating around online.
1. Your name?: Sara Connolly
2. Are you legal (over 21)?: Yes, I'm a right fogey at 26.
3. Male or female?: Female
4. Gay, straight, bi (optional): Married.
5. Where do you live?: Tampa, FL
6. What role will you have at Disney?: Attractions!
7. What are your arrival/departure dates/program?: 11 Jan - 14 May (Spring)
8. Which apartment complex would you prefer to live at? Do you prefer wellness or non-wellness (if over 21)?: No major location preference, but NON-Wellness definitely!
9. How many roommates/rooms would you like? (1-7 roommates, 1-4 rooms):? 2-3 rooms, so 3-5 roommates. If someone wants to do a 1 room, I could be down with that as well.
10. Do you like to party? Will you be hosting parties in your apartment?: I'm not a *crazy* party person, but if my roomies are up to it, I'd love to do simple shindigs (board game/movie/etc nights).
11. What's your favorite food, and more importantly, can you cook well?: BACON! I'm not that picky about food though. Not to toot my own horn too much, but I'm an award-winning cook.
12. If your friends could describe you in three words what would they be?: Compassionate, Creative, Funny
13. What kind of music/movies do you like?: Music: Electronic Body Music, Filk, Darkwave, Ambient; Movies: Just about anything from any place or any time (I do have the warm fuzzies for films I watched as a kid, like "Dragon Slayer" or "Tron").
14. Do you smoke, and if so, inside or outside?: Nope.
15. Do you drink? (socially or alcoholic): I'm no teetotaler, I like social drinking. But drinking until totally wasted? Been there, done that, had to throw out the t-shirt.
16. Are you a night person or a morning person?: Night person.
17. Are you driving or flying down?: Driving and bringing my vehicle
18. What do you do for fun?: Play board and video games, watch movies, cook and bake, summon up the Great Old Ones (just kidding)
19. What is your favorite quote?: "Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on." - Terry Pratchett, "Hogfather"
20. What are you most excited about in being in the WDWCP?: Aside from living and working at WDW? Meeting awesome new people!
21. Favorite things to do when not working: Hang out with my friends, do the things I listed above in #18, sleep
22. Name one good quality about yourself: I'm vivacious.
23. Name one bad quality about yourself: I can be a bit curmudgeonly at times. (Hey, I'm old, I've got an excuse).
24: Your college: University of South Florida
25: Your major: Graduate Student of Library Science/Anthropology
26. Any medical conditions (optional): Not that I know about, :knock on wood:
27. Messy or tidy?: Organized chaos - I admit to being a bit on the clutter-y side, but I abhor "dirty" messes (e.g. unwashed dishes, bathroom grunge).
28. Anything else you want to state: I'm looking for roommates who can have fun, but won't do anything insanely stupid (e.g. no wacky antics that could get us all termed). I only live about an hour away, so chances are that I might be going home about once a week, so this could be a factor for you. If you want to chat more, feel free to friend me on facebook (Sara Mouseketeer Connolly), AIM me (mouseketeersara), or email me (mouseketeersara@gmail.com).
