Can you believe that???


I have to get a "diagnosis" for Karissa so they can recommend more therapy for her and this the earliest they can get me in!

Im on their "cancellation list" but still.

Wow, that is a long wait. Is there any place else you can go to have this done? How frustrating.

Isn't that pitiful?! Is there anyone who can pull strings for you? I know my doc got me into a special specialist pretty quickly when it was needed.

I'm on hold with my regular doc right now so hopefully this will help.

He is the only one in town who does this type of thing, or at least he was last time I checked. Thats the other quetsion I have for her now.

Oh how I know all about this! With DD having Down Syndrome and having to see specialist all the time, it always seems she can never get in to see them until 6 months to a year later.
Aboustley uncalled for!!!! The way the people act at these offices, is that they are the only specialist around. Of course with our insurance company, they only have a few that are in network. As long as we stay in network we only have a copay. If we go outside network we have to pay the copay and a HUGE deductiable.

Hopefully someone will cancel, but I know how frustrating it can be when you need something like that so quickly, especially for therapies.

doc just confirmend it, he's the only game in town

Boise is not that small ( ok to some of you it is lol) but shouldnt we have more than ONE Pediatric Developemental Specialist?


Oh well. It sounds like we may be able to get a diagnosis that will satisfy the insurance through the therapist. Wish me luck
