Hi all,
Just wanted to apologize for not properly tagging the FE gift I gave out. After making them all I forgot to think about tags. Mine was the black pen with the red Mickey on it.

If you need to replace the ink, you can pull the cartridge out with pliers by grabbing it around the blue part, and insert a new one. The pens are Papermate stick pens.

Enjoy! And thanks everyone for all the cool FE gifts!!
Mary

I loved my pens. Thank you so much!

It was a fabulous cruise! I'm glad to have met many fellow Disboarders & DVC members!

I agree. The FE gifts were incredible. My granddaughter couldn't wait to get them each evening and morning. She was so cute and it made our trip more enjoyable than I thought possible. Thank all of you for making it so very special. It was great fun!

does anyone have the info on the ABD for NYC? I did not go to the talk and am interested in this and do not see it on the website.thanks

I've met a few MCruisers here at Vero. Heading for Jambo house today. Is anyone there now?

There is a point chart with dates on the DVCMember site. I believe one additional date was converted to adult only that is not reflected on the point chart. A few highlights were a visit to September 11 memorial, a back stage visit to the New Amsterdam theater with extra time to play in the prop room. Tickets to Newsies with cast meet and greet after. A visit to Harlem and Central Park, and an optional morning walk on the Highline. And what they promoted as the big event, an inside stage visit to the set of GMA during broadcast.

Kim Pryzbyl just mentioned this on the FB page.....her family may be going. I'm sure she has all the info.

Here's all I know.....we are booked on the July 3rd Adventure:

160 reservation points or
$1599/adult; $1519/child

Hotel: Manhattan Club - we are booked for a one room suite (King size bed with a Queen sofa bed)

Activities start at 8:30a.m. the first day (they suggest you fly in the night before and I think the pre night was around $291).

* See the city come alive in ways you never dreamed of on THE RIDE, a whirlwind adventure where you'll see Manhattan's most iconic sights: Times Square, Rockefeller Center, 5th Avenue, Madison Avenue, the Chrysler Building and Radio City Music Hall.

* Be dazzled by the bright lights of Broadway with an interactive experience with props from actual Broadway shows.

* Learn choreography from a Broadway musical and then enjoy NEWSIES on stage followed by the opportunity to meet some of the cast members.

* Gain VIP backstage access to Good Morning America at Disney's Times Square Studios, where you'll see firsthand what's involved in making one of the country's most-watched shows come together seamlessly each and every day.

* Step back in time and explore on of New York's most unique neighborhoods on the historic Harlem Heritage Tour, a guided walking excursion led by a true-blue Harlem local, with a stop at the world-famous Apollo Theater.

* Your guided tour continues with a walk through Central Park, stopping along the way to see iconic sights like the Alice and Wonderland sculpture.

*********
Not mentioned on the flyer - breakfast in the theatre where Lion King is performed. Also, dinner and exclusive access to the Tenement Museum complete with costumed guides.

I checked into BWV yesterday and met a cast member who was very very disappointed with this MC. DSis, DCuz & I had a totally different experience than she did.

Any comments? What sort of experiences did you all have?

I especially enjoyed the varied member experiences, our huge balcony and the rainforest experiences I had. I thought the food was about an 8-9 out of 10. The last show was tops in my book, I loved the Broadway singers.

As this was only my second Disney cruise and my first Member cruise, I guess my expectations were low because I had an absolute blast! The weather was beautiful. The people that I encountered were so nice. Loved loved loved seeing the Fantasy and experiencing the battle of the horns. I understand that is pretty rare as I saw most of the crew running on deck to take pictures along with the guests. Hubby and I came home relaxed and refreshed.

Why were they disappointed? We weren't thrilled with the gifts, other than Monopoly which we loved. They just underwhelmed. But that was us. For me, too large of a watch to wear and the hat was kind of masculine.

I really liked the Roy Disney Tribute. Sat through the first one and ran back for the end of the 2nd one to hear the music again. The concert on the last night was AWESOME! The Fantasy "sighting" was a thrill too!

Our favorite part was Stacia. We met her on an ABD trip several years ago and she actually remembered our son. It was wonderful to see her again and talk to her.

This was my first MC and I was totally UNDERwhelmed. Loved getting the DVC gifts, but really expected to have more events for members to mingle. This was my 5th Disney Cruise, and it seemed no different than a regular cruise. I feel that the food is about a 5 out of 10. I'm not a "show person" so that sort of thing has no appeal to me. I would have liked it if they had more on the schedule to choose from. Overall had a great time just because of the classic Disney hospitality.

The cast member did not like the food and said that she left all of the gifts. She also said she wanted to see Mickey, not Crush at Animator's Palate.

I also enjoyed the Roy Disney Tribute!

on the Dream Crush is the big show in Animator's -so that is standard. we enjoyed the special taalks but expected more and not so many repeats of each-although we did go to all 3 of Stacia's but still did not win a sketch.
the gifts were nice . Maybe they should ask for more feedback from members. I felt a lot of time was spent on the RCI and ABD seminars which we did not attend.

Yes, we knew about Crush, too. I think it was all very cute. I never attended any DVC presentation. I am waiting for the Grand Floridian points, didn't care to be tempted to buy before they are offered!:hyper:
