Our family will also be joining all of you on this cruise. We are excited....it is our very first cruise!!!

Please add us to the roll call as well...I would also like to participate in the FE...I am up for anything to make the vacation more enjoyable. Just may need some more direction on what to do.....

DW-Melanie 38
DH-John 35
DD-Gracie 6
DS-Holden 3

Wish we were leaving today......;)

Guess it would help to actually give you our names, lol. Me - Lori, Dh - Cliff, DD - Paris (almost 5 when we cruise) and DD - London (almost 3 when we cruise)

Can I get some more info on the FE? This sounds fun!!

Here are some older links that I posted in my last cruise meet group about the FE. Actually, I just copied and pasted from that original thread. I've seen quite a few more recent ones in the last week or so.

For those who are wanting to participate but have questions about what on earth we're talking about, I am adding some links about what fish extenders are and some gift ideas. I bought my extender on ebay, but they are easy to make if you're crafty. Gifts can be pretty much anything. I bought stuff at Oriental Express, but lots of people make things that are great.

Here's our names...

baidoo (me) - Connie
DH - George
DD - Alexis (6)

I'm looking for gifts already! Is anyone doing the Mickey Ears for the stateroom numbers yet? If not, we'd like to do it. That FE gift on our first cruise made a big impact with our daughter.

Thanks!

We just got off the Magic on 9/12, and we are going to take another cruise in January. We are using our DVC points to book our next cruise. The only question is which cruise to take, a 4 day (save some DVC points for later in the year) or a 7 day Eastern.

We just wanted to stop in, say hello and introduce ourselfs.
I am the enabler (Michael) 31
DW is Rose 32
DD is Taylor 4

We have to make our decision by Wed, so we can get our "onboard" discount for booking with points.

Michael

If you booked online your reservation will have printed on it the room number assigned to you. You can then go in and change it within the same category if another room is available.

This is the most interesting place! A friend told me about you guys years ago and he was right.......WOW! I have been glued to this computer for days! You can find anything you need! Those of you thinking about the FE, I found FE hangers on Ebay! I am still undecided about the FE - DH says NO, DD says PLEASE! I will let you know!

My husband also isn't the most excited about the FE's. I have to admit he was interested in seeing what we received in our FE. My daughter and I ran around and placed the gifts on our first cruise and it was fun although we waited too long to sign up and didn't get the full impact of the FE's because everyone needs to know who's in what cabin and how many things to bring and there's a cut off time.

You can get involved as much as you want.

I think they're fun. I don't sew and bought pieces of fabric and glued them together with a wooden pole bought at a craft store.

WDW Enabler - R U joining the rest of us in January? Does your DW and DD participate in the FE? Baidoo has me convinced to participate in the FE since I don't have to sew! Fabric glue sounds gr-8 to me!

Natale, you can take us off the list. I've decided to change my plans and do a 7 night instead.
thanks.
:)

What kind of parking is at the Disney terminal? Do you have to pay?
We're deciding whether to keep our rental car for longer than a week, park at the hotel during the cruise or return the one way rental and rent again upon our return from the cruise. Rates are pretty much the same whether we return the one way and rent after or keep the car during the cruise. Would be less hassle to keep the car...

Your thoughts?

We just parked our rental car there when we went Aug 23. It was $15/day. It was nice having car there getting off ship. :goodvibes

Does anyone plan on making door magnets? These look like fun, so I will probably give them a try. Just wondering for those with experience, which way works better... buying the magnetic paper or printing designs on cardstock, then adding magnet strips to the back? Can't decide which route I want to go.
