Jan hours-When can I expect them?

Hi ! I'm the one who talked first at this thread about the Convention.:paw:

We are going Jan 5-24 . We always stay off-site, because we go to Universal , SW , BG too.

I Knew about that convention because I had problems here in Brazil to find a Hotel in Universal Area and all of them told me that it was because of this "giant" convention.

I found the hotel, but they advised me that I should expect the city to be crowded in that period.

When I went some years ago to an Oracle Users Convention in Orlando, a lot of people came with their families (including me :) ). And these people use to go to the parks during the day and join the others to go out at night ...

As I'm gonna spend a lot of time, I'm planning AK on the Friday 13 and Kennedy Space Center on 14th ... And the other parks after MLH Holiday (also a busy day).

I hope that in spite of that, everybody have fun ! :flower:

Yes, it can be done at Disney, as well. I work for a big corporation and it has been done (more than once) when the executives are attending a big meeting at WDW. I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like that for the Builders' Convention.

While it is NOTHING compared to the Homebuilder's Show, there is a Christian youth event at Disney January 13-16...based at Coronado Springs. It won't have any impact on the crowds, but there is an activity based in World Showcase on Sunday morninng (1/15) from 11-2pm. There are 1500 people registered for the conference. A drop in the bucket, LOL
