Jan/Feb 2006 people - we're finally next in line for discounts! Anyone else anxiously waiting for the next batch of codes? I'm hoping that since it's "value" season, some great package or room-only deals will be released.

So how long do you think we'll have to wait? Any guesses on what kind of specials are going to be released? I'll take just about anything at this point!

I feel the same way---At this point ANYTHING will be good I would love to knock a few dollars off my end payment in December So good vibes!!!

A package would be OK if it included anything that we needed. I will not "hop", a waterpark in February is really not a priority and will not be used. PI is OK but I can get those for half price. Free dining plan would be great but I doubt that will be rolling around anytime soon. A discount on the room portion of the package would be great.

I agree, for us we did buy the hoppers, so getting that "free" would help, but not enough for us to plan a trip, if we weren't already going. The savings is only going to be around $80.00 something dollars, which, I'm not scoffing at, but like I said, it's not enough to make me plan a trip!! Also, as for the water parks, etc.... we wouldn't use those in Jan./ Feb. and our ds is too young for the DI. I'm hoping, hoping that it is a discount on the room. As for now, it is my understanding that this is for those with a MYW package only, which we have, but how likely does anyone think it will be for room only as well??? I ask because my other DS who is in college, may try to come down for a couple of days with some friends, and they wouldn't get the package.

Update--I just spoke to Disney about my ressie for January 6th. She said that there are no specials yet, it is too early. She did tell me however that I got a terrific rate at the AKL for $174.00 with AAA. I wanted to tell her that the $109 postcard would be much better.

So nothing yet...

I thought I did great with AAA and I got AKL standard for 194.01 including tax. Yours is even better. The postcard deal would seem unreal!!!

My fingers are crossed for some kind of discount on packages. Anything that will beat the $186 I saved booking thru AAA. We have the dining package. I would love to see that offered free again.

We will be there 2/1-2/7 at CSR. Come on Disney....save me some dough!

I thought I did great with AAA and I got AKL standard for 194.01 including tax. Yours is even better.

Unless I'm mistaken, these rates are identical. 174 * 1.115 = 194.01.

Well silly me! I thought your price included tax! I'm happy with that rate, but we do have the first 6 nights booked at POP in 2 rooms. I now understand that I may have to purchase 2 packages if this deal comes out as rumored. So my last 5 nights just may end up in 2 rooms at POP instead of one at AKL, but we'll see.

Talked to CM and a code is out right now. For a 6 night/7 day Magic Your Way Dinning with Plus Option and Hopper for two staying at CRB Preferred Location we paid $1,777.90, a savings of $206.

Those discounts scheduled for tomorrow were released this morning. Here is what I had originally:
2 Adults, 5 nights Allstar Music, 2/15 to 2/20 with MYW dining, 4 Day MYW base tickets, 1 free 5x7 photo pass, 1 dinner certificate for Planet Hollywood and some type of gift from there. $1,220.36 w/tax

Using the new code YRD:

2 Adults, 5 nights Allstar Music, 2/15 to 2/20 with MYW dining, 4 Day Hopper with Water Park and fun and more option tickets. $1142.16 w/tax a savings of $78.20

My TA, Deb from Magic For Less was able to modify my reservation so we will still get the photo, meal certificate for Planet Hollywood and the free gift from their too.

Heck we may even stop into DisneyQuest for a little bit since we have that option now.

They also have a discount code YRE which is for a MYW package without the dining. Good luck and happy hunting.

AKL with package.

I just called and got a package for 9 nights for four people for 2853.40 without meals. No big deal here. It was for a savannah room.

I currently have a parking lot view for 1944.oo room only.

I don't know what to do. Still waiting for room only discounts.
