Jan arrivals; MB and FP+ info

Reading on other boards about Jan arrivals being able to make FP+ selections and MB customization. Been following the December thread and it's been helpful to have a central source of this information for future planning. SO... If you are checking in in Jan, please post your MB and FP+ experience. Thanks.

It seems that when they opened December they extended it through 1/5/13. I have not seen anyone with a check in date after 1/5 that has been able to customize bands. We have reservations for 12/27, 1/1 and 1/9. We have been able to customize bands for the first two, but not the 1/9 reservation.

Note...there have been a couple of reports from guests with reservations in February and March who have been able to customize MBs but those don't seem to be the norm.

I've been following these threads closely as I have both on-site and off-site reservations for Feb. Still deciding which way to go.

I have resort reservations and tickets showing up on MDE, but no ability to manage fast pass or magic bands yet. Checking into AS Sports on Feb 14th

I doubt that you will get access to Magic Band customization before early-to-mid December.

I'm curious to hear from Jan check-ins. Wonder if they will all be available at 60 days starting in Novemeber or will they all be released en mass at the end of November a la December check-ins. Interesting to watch this unfold.

I am arriving at BLT on Jan 5th. I have linked UT tickets to MDE.

I can customize MBs, but I can't make FP+ selections yet.

arriving at POR on Jan 27 with the SPD package. When I click on "manage my MB" in MDE it says to link my tickets, but then when i put in my information it says they are already linked under my reservation, but I haven't been able to view my MB yet. I'm pretty sure this is because we have not paid off our balance yet. Is this accurate?

were those people visiting disney recently? With an AP maybe?
Dec check in with stays through Dec 5-- not someone checking in on the 1st of january.

Dec came online on the 17th of Oct. watch the calender in nov.

Sept. Oct came online around the 20th

So if you wanted to, you could make FP+ ressies for mid-Dec?

I am unable to make FP+ ressies for any date, even if I tried for an earlier date. It tells me that there are no dates in my "FP+ availability window" or something like that.

FP+ is only available 60 days in advance. There is a +10 window for WDW resort guests, just as there is with dining ADRs.

I was able to customize my MagicBands yesterday for my Disneymoon.
Checkin to OKW on JAN. 5th renting DVC Points.
When I click on FP+ it says nothing is available in my window but shows up to Jan. 3 so maybe it will open soon!

I am arriving Jan 5th, I just checked and I am able to customize my bands, haven't done it yet, will later tonight, so unsure about FP+! So happy, Ty Ty Ty!!!

I customized MBs today.
I don't have tickets yet (wondering whether to call in or purchase them directly on MDE) so would not be able to select FP+ anyway.

So we are going in Jan, MLK weekend, we have APs but we are staying offsite. How will we get FP+?

I may be going for pop warner cheer in December, made a hotel ressie (though not sure if we will end up goin!) and I was able to link my APs and make FP+ ressies for then. But that is an onsite stay. Wondering about an off site stay...

do you have tickets tied to your room? you will not see FP without tickets tied to the researvation. I have made FP through the 15th of Dec and thought EVERYONE with a check in date of Dec can now get FP.

to get a MB you need to do online check in
