Jan 5-6 waitlist came through!

I waitlisted BCV & BWV P/G view Jan 5-6 since we are staying at BCV Jan 1-5. The BWV waitlist was just filled!!

I was kind of surprised they cancelled the SSR reservation I had for the same night though as I put the waitlist in my DH's name (he's not going in Jan) & did not check off 'replace a reservation'. I was too worried about messing something up lol!

I was going to call and cancel SSR and change the names on the reservation, but they did both. Just a heads up. It's a good thing I wasn't looking to keep both rooms for that one night! Hopefully someone looking for SSR standard is equally happy today!

Super excited to be able to stay in the Boardwalk area our entire stay!! I feel like I've caught a white whale! Thanks to these boards I knew P/G would have a better shot than standard or BW view

Those particular dates look impossible to get to me so congrats!! I booked our std view at SSR way back & thought about trying to wait list at AKV Jambo but figured the odds were slim to none just looking at the overall availability. All of the resorts were booked way before 7 months. I didn't want to stress over it. We like our SSR fine & it's hard to beat the points so I decided to leave it alone. We like to resort hop and we were just there this past January that's why I thought about AKV (we love Jambo). Maybe I would try it tho another time now.

Congrats on the WL! I'm glad it came through. But, it is a little disconcerting they cancelled the other ressie with a different name without first checking with you.
