so just curious but am i the only one that is way behind this Christmas? I am almost done shopping but have done no wrapping, my tree is up but thats about as far as I got and I have yet to mail a Christmas card as i am still in the process of making them.
I think this trip has taken over my life but im ok with that.
1-1-1!!!![]()
I did manage to bake some shortbread and gingerbread, but there are still cookie trays that need to be cleaned from when I baked them on Sunday.
THE HUBBY TEXTED ME AT WORK TO TELL ME OUR CRUISE DOCUMENTS ARRIVED!!!!!!!
I am so beyond excited I can't even sit still...
37 days to go, it's almost too good to be true!!!
My DH will be wearing just a shirt and tie for both nights. No jacket. Now to convince my DS to leave his jacket...lol. I need the packing space for shoes and FE stuff!!! lol.
And feel free to bring any extra shortbread you have on the cruise! I'll be happy to help you get rid of it!![]()
Our cruise documents arrived on Monday...I'm surprised us Canadians received it faster then US citizens. Ours were purolated so that could be a factor. I was actually worried about getting them on time for the cruise since every other mailing we received from DCL was about 4 weeks delayed. For example: I received a reminder notice about final payment about 3 weeks after it was already due! LOL
Hmmm... I just went back to shake my mailbox all over, nothing.I must not be Canadian enough!
Or maybe the cruise documents go to my travel agent first? I'm afraid to email her yet again, there's a good chance she'll file a restraining order on me!
I'll just casually mention this over to her on Twitter.![]()

Oh, and and a big gingerbread-scentedto Tinkerkell123, Cheechow, kaj1436 and Lokkabear for being reassuring about my wardrobe dilemma! Or perhaps I should thank your non-fussy spouses!
I mean, it's not like for you, ladies, I can't just accessorize my outfit with a feather boa and a pair of satin gloves... Or can I?Nope, nope I can't!
So I guess I'll go tie shopping then. At least that's easier to pack!
And you know what I just realized? Despite doing this adult-only trip with 2 friends, I'm really looking forward to see all your kids, their beaming smiles, some in awe and others completely excited.
And after taking this all in, I'll take refuge at the adult-only Café, of course...![]()
If you accessorize with a feather boa and a pair of gloves, I will pay your bar tab. We need a new source of warbrobe-related excitement now that Chrisse has decided to wear a dress to dinner!![]()

I do believe that if you have a TA the documents go to them and then they send to you...is that everyone else's experience?
At the rate my husband is sneaking them, I'll be lucky if I have any left for Christmas![]()
LOL! You guys are so funny! I love going onto the thread and reading all the conversations!
So how much snow are our Canadian friends getting? We've been getting a good dusting every morning here in NJ....and I'm already tired of it!
We have SO MUCH snow it isn't funny! The night before last it snowed 8 inches overnight! And we had at least that before then. It also snowed all day yesterday! We have so much snow and the worst part is... My husband and his dad have a road maintenance company and they are busy plowing snow.... well I went to the office yesterday and got STUCK in my own parkinglot! Yes! The one that has road graders, back hoes, tractors, and verious other snow removal equipment! I was so stuck DH had to come back and rescue me! The good thing is that he plowed my parking lot for me after that...lol.
OK I know this has been said before....in several of these 84 pages....but DH and I decided last night that since we are getting in at 2pm the day before, it really wasn't worth it to head to Disney for that night. We have annual passes but I doubt DD will nap that day and it probably isn't worth pushing her to Magic Kingdom for a couple hours. Plus last time we brought her on the Magical Express it was a nightmare because she just spent 3+ hours stuck in a plane....plus the time stuck in the airport....needless to say we weren't popular on that bus ride. And you need to wait until the bus fills up. So anyway, we're going to stay by the port instead....where are you all staying? Any good deals? Not sure if we're going to rent a car or get a car service right now. Any good car rental deals?
