This one may be my best favorite....The other girls had whimpped out on me and went back to the ship early.....i refused to go...my first time on Castaway Cay after 2 other cruises i was not going to miss one moment....This was the pic i got on my way back into the ship.

There were many times during this cruise i felt like i was a solo traveler....And it really isnt that bad i could def do a solo trip and have a great time!!!!!!

OK is it just my computer or does anyone not see the pictures that are posted? Help!

I see them just fine! They are GREAT!
Do you have your security settings too high? Or are you missing a program that shows pics? Can you see pics on other threads?

Does anyone know if there is an extra charge for the beer tasting, my husband is interested it this event. I may be interested in the margarita tasting, but I did read somewhere that it was $15 a person, I'm not sure if that is correct or not. Michelle

Wow, you guys are all very observant! I am so impressed! Yes, I am pregnant....6 weeks...shhhh! But the good news I always wanted to cruise being pregnant.....all that food! I should be around 19 weeks when we sail.

The bad part is I probably can't do the 5K. I've been told I can't do more than 30 minutes of exercise a day (haven't done ANY in the past 3 weeks) unless I was a runner before.....which is not the case. But I will cheer you all on! And hopefully DH...as I think it would be a wonderful goal for him but I want him to want it...not me.


The tea party....is that something you think I should rush to the Purser's Desk to get that first day? We don't plan on doing Palo reservations and are happy with our seating so this would be something we could do on our first day when we board. Or is this something that you sign up for as the days go on based on the Navigator? DD is totally into tea parties and we play them all day long....with a Disney princess she may lose her mind!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I hope you feel better soon! It would be awesome to be pregnant on a cruise. Being pregnant is a great excuse to eat, and what better place?? You definitely don't want to do the run. You will be able to eat & cheer at the same time!

RE: Tea Party. i would go ahead and get tix that first day, just in case. However, there were plenty of spots when we were at ours. Tea could be with the Hatter and not Alice. That's who our's was with... Hoping for Alice this time.

out of love for the sport.... i have joined several threads together here...
since you may not have known there was such a sport or if you did know there was a post counting sprot and did not realize we were engaging this sport, this will not continue after today as i am very competitive by nature.

What about an actual medal/ribbon????

Just kidding on wanting the #1 spot back! Definitely not a sport... Love the medal idea! Going to see what I can find at Oriental Trading site...

I'm still counting on others to join me thoughI don't want to go alone!! I will appreciate the cheerleading though.

There is a charge for the tastings. I think they were $5 per person. The wine one may have been $10 or so...

happy Monday everyone! so I just watched a travel agent video called Launching a Dream about getting ready for the Dream in January. They showed Castaway Cay which apparently had updates this year and it looks amazing. It actually entised me into wanting to do the 5K so I can see as much of the island as possible. DH is planning to do it to. Now i just need to get off the couch and start running so i don't crash half way through.

They also announced the Disney Fantasy will start sailing April 2012. Bookings open up on Wednesday!!! How exciting

Well, I am not sure if I will be able to do the 5K run now .
I have a knee issue and it is acting up with all the walking I have been doing which makes me sad. My friend and I are going to see how far I make it tonight so depending on how I do I may have to be on the sidelines cheering with Melissa. Wish me luck!

My feet hurt more than my knee though...lol. I think I am just getting old...lol.

That's great! You know every bit counts. I hope your knee doesn't get too bad. Take it easy. There's nothing worse then being in pain...especially when you're on vacation.
Whether your running with us or cheering from the sides...it's all great and part of the fun!!

I just had to go back 8 pages to see where I left off... along my clicking merry way I did see the words scavenger hunt and margaritas.. and both sound MAAAARVELOUS!
Will try and see if I can read some more today.

This was walking not running. And my knee that didn't hurt last ngith is not so happy with me today
