Jan. 21/22 Magic Kingdom

Saturday or Sunday....which day do you think the Magic Kingdom would be less crowded? There's a specto on Saturday, but extra evening hours on Sunday. We're only doing 2 days this time....MK and EPCOT...and I'm not sure which day to do which park. TIA!

Thats a toss up. We will be arriving on the 21st and we are doing MK to get Spectro out of the way. Honestly, I think both afternoons and nights are going to be pretty crowded. Ive never done the extra night hours at MK before. Im assuming that at the time of year when the other parks are closing at 5pm, 8 & 9 pm, the one park open until 11 or 12 will be where everyone wants to go. We personally avoid EMH parks, and I dont like MK on Saturdays either but we are giving it a try.

We were there on the 15th for EMH and the hotels were packed with no availability. I love the EMH because the lines are shorter.

My personal suggestion is to enjoy whatever other park you are planning to visit on Sat, then sleep in, enjoy your hotel pool and hit MK later in the day and take advantage of the EMH. It's going to be in the 80's this weekend. So by using the EMH you can take advantage of cooler temps, shorter lines and uncrowded shopping.

Most rides were walk on during EMH and that was with Disney completely sold out! The longest we waited was about 15 min.

We are going to be there this weekend also! AKL 1/20-1/28. Anyway we were there this same week last year and the extra hours were not crowded at all. Of course, I think it was still pretty new and not many people knew about them and it was cold.

Anyone checked out the weather for this week-end and next week. Looks like high 70's and low 80's. Yeah!
