I'm wondering if you needed to code to make changes to existing reservations, but not to make new one. I can tell you the CM I talked to at 5:10 wasn't going to apply it until I could tell her what it was. She wasn't being nasty, just that I had to tell her what it was - and then she'd use it.

I didnt need the code either. I didnt even see the code on the Disney or Mousesavers website. I had to wait 45 mins. for my TA at AAA to get through and change my Poly package to the new deal. My TA had no clue about the deal. She was nice though because she stayed after hours to get through and get me the discount. I saved almost $1600.00 from the rack rate when you include the gift card. I love Disney!!!

When I called ay 5:10 there was no availability at Pop or any value(what's that about) so we upgraded to Port Orleans. It's 3 bucks more. But we get the card. May try to move back to Pop or another value. Surely something will come open.

it's true there was NO availability for a while, but then a little while later, there was lots of availability! I thought I was SOL, and then suddenly, I had the deal!

If you updated the 7 MYW base ticket from this deal to an AP, would it be based on a 4 day pass or a 3 day pass?

I think if you use the ticket before you upgrade you'll get full value.

We HAD a split stay reservation at AKL and WL for 10 days in January (5 nights at each resort), room only reservation. When today's deal came out, I called to rebook and change to pkg deal.

I had read that you can't do split stays, that your free nights have to be at the place where you stayed the first 4 nights. Okay, fine. So the original plan to do 5 nights at AKL and 5 nights at WL was history...but I thought maybe we could do the first 7 nights at WL and then the last 3 at AKL. Though we could get the dining plan for the first 7 nights at WL, then do OOP for the last three at AKL.

Now, I was told by the CM who was helping me that I couldn't buy 9 day tickets with my 7 night room reservation at WL, that the tix had to be for length of stay only.

Is that what you all have been told/or understand to be true?

If we still wanted to do the split stay, we'd have to buy new 3 day tix for the AKL part of the stay...

We were a little disappointed to have to give up our time at AKL. It would be nice to have at least 3 nights there...but with such a good deal, it's hard to complain!

Anybody able to help???

I think you can upgrade the tickets after you get there.

Just call and ask for the 7/4 that came out yesterday, and see if it's a better deal then you have now. The deal saved us $636.00!

When I was speaking to the CRO last night and I was changing my reser. I had ask about the number of calls she had had since 5. She said a lot and it wasnt until the end of our conversation that I said something about the deal. " Oh, you want the DEAL????? She said they are not to assume the person knows about the deal and they need to ask. I didnt know the correct code but did know a code. She corrected me and applied it. I think some will give it without any promblems and others try to go by the rules.

I need to know if 1 person has an annual pass, & the rest of the family members( husb & kids) who just have plain tkts. Is everyone in the party able to get the dining plan?

I believe the answer is yes. In fact, if one person in the party gets a DDP, then every person must.

You might need to actually call to change your package but I can't see it being a problem to add air through Disney. A word of caution though: You may very well be able to get cheaper flights on your own.

If you were able to stay three more nights, they too would be free. That would mean you'd get 14 nights for the price of 8. But I know that it would cost more to stay that long in terms of food. Still if you were able to swing it - what a great deal!

Just call and tell them you want to apply the buy 4 get three free and they will help you work the rest out.

Well another day......Let's hope a good code FINALLY get's released today. I'm getting tired of waiting <sarcasm>

That was a lot of fun yesterday! Thank you to the DIS member who posted their conversation with the CM to wait because they were about to go into a meeting to get the specifics!!!! Since then, it's been quite the E Ticket Ride!!

I called as soon as I saw it on the WDW website at 5 pm. and I was the FIRST CALLER!!!! I'm sure there are many call centers that WDW hires, but when I called everybody in the background cheered and the Cast Member said they were having a party and would do this for the first caller which I was!

Anyways got a good discount with the AKL Savannah view, but might not be staying all 7 nights because we have a condo at Disney's Vero Beach resort booked starting on night 6??? Two more nights at AKL with animals out of our window or relaxation with the beach???

I was lucky enough to get two rooms at the POP. A room for me and my daughter, and a room for my husband and son (the kids are too big for us all to be in one room). Since I got two rooms, I got two packages, and two gift cards! Two connecting rooms at the POP for 7 nights, 7 day tickets for 4 (3 adults, 1 child) - $1642 - and $400 in gift cards! Yippee!!

So I'm waiting for our AAA TA to open in 40 minutes.
Here's what we are considering:

1. Find out if 4/3free can be done on our current WL CL ressie, and if so, what the savings will be.
2. Find out the price to down grade to a garden view at the Poly, if that is more of a savings, we go with that instead.

We've never stayed at the Poly and it would probably be a long time before we ever would. Our family has always wanted to stay there, one of those wishing upon a star things We think this would be a good opportunity to try it. The never ending question: Is it worth it? Is it worth it to change to a garden view at the Poly from a concierge room at WL? We really like the idea of all that a CL stay would offer, but it's the Poly Bigger rooms, monorail, a resort we've always wanted to stay at and etc. I hate it when I can't make a decision, and I'd better hurry, rooms that were being offered on WDW website last night are now gone!
We figured it to be around a $725 savings to stay at the Poly over our current AAA price at WL CL without the 4/3free deal, plus the $200 gift card.

OMG! We are going to be at POP for the exact same time. We check in on the 10th and out on the 17th as well. That's never happened to me before. Who knows, we might bump into each other!

I never get the confirmation e-mails you are supposed to. They always tell me they'll send one out and they always verify my e-mail address but they never come. So, I've just taken to checking my ressie on the website.

I am in the same situation as you....nothing yet. I did check the ressie confirmation on the site and it shows the most basic info, the dates/rates/room/tickets. But it would be nice to have something to print with all of the details. I am calling them right now to request it again.



UPDATE Cm stated that it will take up to 24 hours, not the usual 30 mins, with all of the new promo people reservations.
