Okay, so lots of you guys have questions about adding dining plan to AP discounted rooms. I was able to add dining (at regular price $40 per person per day) to my discounted AP room rate ($89 at the CBR.)
I'm posting the code the cm used at the bottom of this email. I hope it works for everyone.
I'm going to take the questions one at a time...here goes
So ... some have reported adding the
DDP to their AP discount and others say they were not able to do so?
We did the DxDDP with an AP discounted room in September so I know they do occasionally offer it, but I don't want to call until I have some confirmation that it is available for January. Also, they won't have to cancel my original AP discount room only ressie and re-book as pacakge, will they? I'd worry about availability, especially once a general public discount is announced.
Yes, I added ddp to my AP discounted room. Only the room was discounted, the dining was full price. I believe my cm did have to cancel the reservation and immediately rebook. There was no trouble with rebooking...I don't think the cm would cancel you and then not be able to rebook you. Tell them your concern and see what they can do to make sure you still get the resort/room you want.
Hi Snykymom, love that name btw, my dog is supposed to be a pocket beagle, but guess what, he is not! He came from a rescue organization, where they rescue pregnant dogs, then find homes for all. I was told he wouldn't be bigger than 12 inches, yeah right - he weighs over 50 lbs! But.. back to the code waiting!
My dog looks A LOT like yours, but his body is mostly that tan color instead of white. I'll see if I can post a photo so you can see. He's 70 lbs and he's a hound mix (most likely an American foxhound - yours may be too?) I think he's the best dog in the world!
need to add dining plan to ap rate. how long do i have to add it? also how much with tax is the basic plan this year?
Call the disney reservation line and ask them to add dining to your reservation. The regular dining plan is $40 per person per day, the counter service plan is probably less, the deluxe plan is more.
My TA told me that the dining plan with the AP discount hasn't been released yet (at least she doesn't have information about it yet.. soo I'm not sure)

. I phoned yesterday and changed our reservation with the quick dining to a room only with an AP discount. Am I able to add dining without losing my room discount?
Yes you can add dining with the AP room discount. Again, the room will be discounted but you pay regular price for dining.
