Jan 2007 codes?

Thanks! I have a room only booked at Pop for the 1st - 5th, short trip for ds 13th birthday :goodvibes Waiting to see if any codes come out, so I can decide if I want to switch to a package.

That was a general code. We usually only make it to WDW 1x per year so we don't buy AP's, just use our hoppers. We have 3 days remaining to use in Jan., but we also plan to use our BG and SW combo pass that we bought last Feb., then we'll cancel it when we get home. That was a deal...it ran around $129.00 for both parks for a year and it is debited from my acct. each month.

in one of the threads some got a pin code for $59 for value yesterday for Nov-Dec -Jan but no email for me.. anybody this lucky ?

No such luck for me :sad2: Things have been getting tight on our budget the past couple of months & I REALLY need a code! :yay:

I have never gotten an email code :guilty:

I just bit the bullet and booked 1 night at CSR, king room, with tax-$144.00 (AAA discount). Of course I was told that I could modify my ressie if any additonal discounts become available. I have to laugh though because I'm renting points at BCV for the previous 5 nights at $120.00 per night-no tax, and I can pay for the dining plan at check-in. This is my first experience with renting, and so far, so good!

I'm surprised more don't try to rent for weeknights. We've had family/friends travel the same time as us in the past (before I knew about renting on these boards) and we didn't have enough points. I could cringe knowing what they paid vs. what it would have cost to rent on these boards.

I still look for codes for weekends though.

I found some info regarding our 2005 trip. I booked PC on Oct. 29,2004 at the great rate of $49.00. Now here's the interesting part...this was the time that the CM told me I had a special code attached to my name in the computer system.

Looking for a Jan code also! I don't want to pay $82 a night x2 rooms for vacation! I would jump for joy if they gave us free dining! I don't think they will but I can dream! We are going Jan.27- Feb 4., would love to save a few $$$$. Last time in 2005 we got our room at ASM for $55 a night! Would love to get a low rate again!

We just booked ASMo for Jan 24-28 for $87.50/night (350.00 total) perferred. Last year same time we stayed at PC for $281.00 for 4 nights.

Hey everyone! I'm still hoping for new codes here. I called about 3 weeks ago, needed a code for CBR or anything and there was not for the dates I needed.
I booked at Pop for 125. a night (ressie said this was the cheapest for the dates I am there). Vacation Dreamer how did you get under 90? Is it my dates? Dec. 30 through the 2nd? :confused3
I really wanted CBR, cause it's my favorite...but their price was 187. Question is: Should I have gone ahead and booked CBR and hoped for a code or did I do right in booking Pop?
Here's hoping for the happy dance : :dance3:

Just another disneychik waiting for pixie dust

offsite - 92, CBR 94, 96, 98, 2000, 2004 and waiting.....

I think the "problem" is your dates. Since you start your stay in "peak" season, I think you pay peak rate the entire stay, even though Jan 1 and 2 are value season. If you really want to save some money, you could bok 2 different reservations, but there is a chance you may have to move rooms, etc.
Also, I think its going to be almost impossible to score any deal for Dec 30 and 31, and if/when Jan deals are released, it will more than likely be for travel starting Jan 1.
If your dates aren't flexible and money is an issue, I would book Dec 30 and 31 at Pop at peak rate, and the book Jan 1-2 at value rate, link ressies together, and hope for the best!

I have some interesting information. I just called the Hilton at Downtown Disney and was inquiring about rooms for my brother. They have NO rooms available for January 24-28th!! NONE!

Something is going on during my SLOOOOOW season :badpc:

I did 2 ressies 1 for dec31-jan 1 pop perfred (called today and they had a standard avalive, so i switched) then I booked jan 1-6 pop standard at 92.25 a night with tax. hoping for AP rate, if not then I'll book the aaa rate.

Do you think it could have something to do with the Super Bowl the following week? I know Miami is pretty far from Orlando, but I suppose people could combine a trip to Florida...

Dec 30,31, and Jan 1 are all holiday rates. So you are going to pay top dollar for those dates, and very rarely if ever do they offer discounts at that time!

We were at WDW for the end of Jan this year, and I found it to be very busy. From what I've seen the slow times are not what they used to be :sad1:
