Okay. I am totally sick now. The cheerleaders are HIGH SCHOOL minors if you are talking about the National High School Cheerleading Championship Feb 9-11. They are under age children.

:furious:
I'll probably edit this is a day or two, however---I'm sorry if you're sick, but as mentioned if you had bothered to read the posts the comments were about the college cheerleaders. Also, the posts were very innocent and lacked any salaciousness what-so-ever. Sorry, but not all men are perverts.

There are many Websites in which you may visit to explore whatever it is you are into along these lines, but this isn't one of them!

i am sorry but,
i have been subscribed to this thread from the beginning and have been holding back on this last topic.
but now that it is clear they are college age cheerleaders, would it be wrong for me to say Hooray? Disney just gets more and more magical every minute.
A vacation with the family, and college cheerleaders.
"I am not worthy, I am not worthy"

whew! had to get that off my chest, I feel much better now,

please dont tell the wife.

I can honestly say when i get there too, that "i had no idea about that part"
FIRST LET ME START BY SAYING YOU ARE DISGUSTING!! MY DAUGHTER WILL BE ONE OF THE COLLEGE CHEERLEADERS IN JAN AND THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN AN MAN WITH HIS FAMILY STARING AT THE YOUNG GIRLS. THEY THINK ITS DISGUSTING AND SO DO I.

LugNut, I'm planning on asking for binoculars for Christmas. I bet you are too. Just be sure to ask for a couple of birdwatching books, and be sure to bring up all the exotic birds that you might see at WDW.

This is gonna turn out to be a very magical trip!
I THINK OLD MEN THAT STARE AT YOUNG GIRLS ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE WITH THEIR FAMILYS ARE DISGUSTING! AND SINCE ONE OF THE CHEERLEADERS WILL BE MY DAUGHTER I HAVE A RIGHT TO SAY THAT!

Ok, I guess I'm one of the FEW who saw the post about college cheerleaders and thought it was funny. :confused3

Wow, I thought I'd seen it all...now we men aren't allowed to look at women anymore...

popcorn:: :stir:

if grown men looking at college cheerleaders is disgusting....so are grown women looking at attractive young men and therefore my DH and I probably have been and will be disgusting in the future. Personally I thought the whole discourse was funny.

ok, i thought this thing was funny too, i think they were just joking... since everyone kept mentioning the college cheerleading thing (my boyfriend, who is a young grad student said the same things as these guys did when i told him that we were going to be there at the same time). anyway, what makes it so wrong for a man (or woman for that matter) to look at younger women (or men)?? if people are attractive, then it's just natural for older men and women to look. i highly doubt that these guys are going to sit there and oogle these girls with their tongues hanging out of their mouths. besides, these are not really "young" girls we are talking about, i'm sure they know just as much about the birds and the bees as most college students do.

When i first saw them I got a laugh, I'm 20 and didn't take offense to this. I was a cheerleader and most girls just laugh at it, it's a small group that are offended by it.

I thought it was funny, too. The girls mentioned are college age, not children. I'm sure they've come to expect that people will look at them- it comes with the gig. I'm a bellydancer, and if we took every similar comment as being offensive... well, I'd be offended a lot!

Now, back on topic- does anyone know when the last set of AP discounts were released? (the ones through December?) It seems like it's been months!

Well I am glad that everyone thought the jokes about the cheerleaders were funny however being the mom of a 19 year old cheerleader and hearing family men make comments about her and her friends is disturbing and I can't just laugh about it . How many of you that thought it was funny have 19 year old daughters and enjoy having men stare at them and make comments? Anyway I know it is nature and the subject should be dropped but when I physically see or hear comments made about my daughter as a mother I will always respond to their comments. A mother protecting her child no matter how young or old is also human nature!

I think, we need to drop the cheerleading subject. No one is ever going to agree and this is a thread about Jan 2007 codes. I think with our bordem of no codes we got off topic. But at least lets try something positive conversation because this is going nowhere fast.

AMEN!
now a silly question but are the codes only for AP or will there be codes for those of us who have "regular" MYW passes already booked but not paid off?
thanks

We wish we know. You pretty much never know what disney is going to offer!! Hopefully, disney will let us know soon. Usually for Jan, disney offer some sort of room discount or package discount for the general public. BUT only time we will tell and we are getting close!

Wow! ** Note to self- tell DH that both he & I are disgusting for enjoying looking at good looking people...

Seriously, it was funny.

Anyway- did I read the post above wrong- are there codes out that I'm somehow missing???

who is the sick one? the parent that dresses their daughter in clothes that are intended to attract the attention of men at a football game,
or the man who is there to see a game and looks at the provided distraction.

Well said! While I don't think a parent is sick who allows their child to dress like that, I don't think they can be critical of the people who look at them.

Am I an "old man" at 32? Just wondering, because I have tickets to a Rams game later this season, I will be there with my kids and I am wondering if it will be ok to look at the cheerleaders?

Now how exactly did I stumble on to this thread???

I thought so too. I guess all the talk on these boards about the French (and I was enjoying a German one just a few weeks ago... ;) )waiters (whom are also COLLEGE students on the College Program) is also naughty, huh? Guess Ill just keep it to myself, then.... :rolleyes1

Lets TRY and keep this thread calm and cool and collected - cuz what we're allllll here for are: CODES! :wizard:
