This will be our 2 & 3 cruises.
We leave in 22 days for our first DCL Cruise to the Southern Caribbean for Halloween on the High Seas.

So excited to be on this cruise! This will be our 6th cruise on Disney. I love the Dream! This will be our second cruise with all of our kids and the first with all of my sisters and their families and my mother. We are traveling with a group of 23, so it should be exciting! We are from Jacksonville, FL, not too far from the port.

My family: Me, Paula, my DH, Bob; our oldest DD, Sabrina (32), her DH, Tony (33); their DDs, Olivia (5) and Juliette (3); our 3 other DDs: Becca (21), Moriah (18) and Alicia (16). We all have late dining.

We have traveled before during this time of the year, and have always had great weather. Looking forward to meeting everyone onboard!

Welcome Paula and Lisa! So glad you came over here to join this thread. There is something special about the DIS Things here really ramp up a couple months before the cruise. It's been a bit slow lately but as we get closer I'm sure there will be lots of action.

There usually are FE Groups through this board and I'd like to have one here. I'd rather sign up for a DIS FE but this thread has been SOOO SLOW so far I don't know if it will happen. I expected action to pick up here as the date got closer but doesn't seem to be happening!

I don't believe there are any kind of port adventures for disembarkment day. They pretty much toss you off the ship by 9am and you're on your own. The Disney Cruiseline transportation will take you to Disneyworld (for the cost of a transfer) though if that's what you wanted to do. Or there are lots of taxis when you get off the ship you could take one over to Kennedy Space Center for the afternoon.

We are definitely interested in being apart of a FE group. I am actually almost done making most of what I was hoping to give out. It sounds like we have enough people on this post that is interested, but I am just not sure how it all comes together. Just a Rookie here!

I've always done my FE through here and I like that it will be smaller. Anyhow I'm going to take over and try to get together a roll call and see who we have for a FE here. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. We are super excited to set sail in 11 days! We are being blessed with a trip From Make A Wish for our son. We are super nervous due to the logistics with traveling with a wheelchair and so on. I just learned what a fish extender is today We would love to participate. bmstachura what are you and your husbands names? It is late for FE stuff and we didn't end up with enough people in this group who wanted to do it to really run one. However it is very fun especially for the kids, so if you're up for getting together a fish extender pocket(s) I will put some things in it and I'm sure some other people here would too.
