Based on the poll taken on the gadispins mail list, we'll meet at Discover Mills mall in the food court in front of Johnny Rocket's at 2p on SAturday, January 11th. To get to Discover Mills, take 85N to Sugarloaf Parkway and turn right. The mall is immediately on the right. The food court is centered in the mall, but there aren't any entrances directly to it.

I know this is short notice, but for those of you planning on coming Saturday, if I get enough interest I have a “game” or “pin swap” for everyone to participate in. Everyone that is interested will take one rack pin (DS or otherwise) and drop it in a bag. We’ll draw numbers and each of us will then draw a “new” pin from the bag. If you draw your own pin, you put it back and draw again. Just a fun something that we can do if enough want.

I am so disappointed....

I had planned on coming to the meet. I worked on my pins and everything and now I cant come! :(

We have a delivery coming between 12 and 4 today -- and you know how deliveries go.

Maybe if they get here by two I can get over there!!!

Sorry we missed you! We had a pretty good turn-out with 9 of us out there. I sent the pictures to pinclubs to be posted, so hopefully we'll have those available soon. I believe everyone had a chance to trade with everyone else there. We took up 3 of the picnic table style tables, with no problems for space. We did do my proposed 'game' where each person dropped in a rack (DS or otherwise) into my basket/envelope and each person that put one in, got to pull one out. I "seeded" the swap with a CM pin (Balloon Donald) that Anne drew out. Congrats Anne!

Proposed date for the next meet is March 8th. We were offered the use of a fellow pintrader's new Subway restaurant (in Marietta) for our pin meets. The suggested set-up is for us to alternate using his restaurant with Discover Mills. That way folk on both sides of 400 get a chance to pin trade a little closer to home. As long as this is acceptable with everyone, that's the way it'll be set up. Doug (Subway owner) has also offered free drinks to pin traders.

For those of you interested, pin clubs has posted pictures of our group.. Currently called North Atlanta Disney Pin Traders since we cover folk from Marietta to Stone Mountain and beyond. :)
