I was just checking to see if anyone made it to see Beauty and the Beast Today.

We all decided it was too darn cold to venture out this morning, and put our Sunday at the Movies off for a couple weeks.

Was it wonderful - were there any pins?

Darlene

There was a segment on our local morning news about the movie. They did say that the movies were sold out for today. I suspect this will be something you will have to get tickets ahead of time.

Released this morning LE4000 Dizneypins has it on display.

Darlene,

It was pretty cold here too! I think the temperature last night dipped to almost 50 degrees! There is no way I am venturing out of the house if I have to wear pants that reach the floor. I will wait until spring when it gets warmer. I am curious, where the heck do you live? Here in Arizona it is Tuesday or at least that is what my new Mickey Mouse calendar says. Instead of daylight savings time do you have like calendar savings time where you set your calendar ahead in the spring and then roll it back in the fall? That is cool!

Jeff

Dear Jeff,

I am in Baltimore and it was like 17 degrees or so today - too cold to go out for me.

As I am old, it is very confusing when they give me off in the middle of the week - hence, I thought today was Sunday. And I never get to go out on Monday night so I thought last night was Saturday. It is going to take a couple of weeks for me to get this all straight. Sorry, did not mean to confuse you.

What will be wonderful is when it is Friday and my work week will be done and I will only think it is Wednesday because I only have worked three days.

Okay, now I am convinced that I have read too many of your and Raul's post because I am starting to write like the too of you.

Happy New Year to you.

Darlene

We tried but the shows we could stay to see were all sold out so we bought tickets for Sunday at Navy Pier in Chicago.

I'm hoping to go see it with Lauri in Richmond sometime this month

We saw it this afternoon. WOW!!!. You haven't seen B&B until you've seen it on an IMAX screen. The new scene & song is great. As a preview, they showed the opening Circle of Life number for the IMAX Lion King opening 1/1/03. Can't wait

I agree with Chris....B&B was great and I can hardly wait until be bring Lion King out. That giant screen really makes a difference. This time I will make sure to buy my tickets in advance. We went on NYDay and of course the early shows were all sold out.

The CT group, The Three Caballeros.....and Dom saw the movie last night, then we all went out for some pin talk and dinner.
The movie was great, the dinner was great, and the company was wonderful.
Even though they all left me last week and went to FL they did all bring me something back.
Thanks guys, now I have to find space in my books for my new pins. Peggie

Went to see it last night with the Caballeros. It was great and B & B is not in my top 3 Disney movies! (Gaston as a Villain is not up there with the likes of Maleficent, Jafar, Scar, The Evil Queen, Hades and Ursula. ) I particularly enjoyed loking at the backgrounds. That large you could easily see the brushstrokes. I found it quite educational.

Oh and the story was good and enjoyed the song "Human Again" too!

Kath,
You and Lauri have to let me know when you are going. I'm planning on hitting it up here in Richmond also.
