That's true no cooking or cleaning or having to entertain, On the cruise they do it for you.

I did a goggle search yesterday when Melissa mentioned VGF. I found a "tweet" that showed $145. Does that sound right?

If you are currently a member, you can get them for $145 a point. I purchased 63 points. (Odd number I know, but I want enough for 1 week every other year in October which is going to 125/points for a week in a studio for 2013 and 2014)

If you aren't currently a member, you can purchase them starting June 19th for $150 a point.

My current guide didn't end up calling me back until 9:10pm which is fine as we're two adults with no children so we are awake still.

Points are already loaded in my account! Too bad I won't end up using them until October 2014 during Food and Wine Festival most likely as we have BLT booked for this October, AKV-Club Level for Feb 2014, and then our cruise. We may end up doing a holiday weekend next year over Memorial Day or 4th of July in 2014 but we'll use our AKV points for those and just book the cheapest available studio. If only my husband didn't work in retail management, we could visit during Christmas as my job is shut down from like December 21st to January 2nd. I haven't a clue what to do with myself then but going to Disney alone during that time of year just feels awkward.

We would have bought more points but as the current rumor is that Poly will be getting their own DVC in probably 4 years, we will buy points there instead. We got married at the Polynesian so it holds more meaning to us (especially my husband - he didn't really understand why I wanted VGF so bad, but he didn't grow up spending a week there every year like I did)

Hum, I don't know. I wasn't aware of one on any Disney Cruises we've been on over the years.

Was it an official cruise activity or something your DISboards group put together?

I guess we better buy our WDW tickets today.

I just read that Walt Disney World and Disneyland (California) ticket prices will INCREASE at the ticket booths and on the official Disney websites on Sunday, June 2. If we buy today, we get the current price and can use them later.

For Walt Disney World, regular Magic Your Way tickets are valid for 14 days starting with first use, so unused tickets don’t expire. They can be purchased way in advance and held until you need them.

Disneyland is a little diffrent. Tickets expire, used or not, on 12/31/2013 - see the article for details.

There's also info for those with Annual Passes about renewing early.

Hi I went in Sept 1 2012 and i thought they had a scrapbooking class but i didnt go. I think it was on a port date and we had plans already booked.

Hello everyone!! My family and I were on the Fantasy in May and we went ahead and signed up for another wonderful vacation on August 30, 2014 aboard the Disney Fantasy!! So far there will be 3 adults in our crew in stateroom 8102: Skip (63), Gloria(62) and me, Whitney (27). We may be adding another stateroom and people as well. And we will be celebrating my mom, Gloria's birthday on August 30th! Looking forward to meeting you guys and exchanging FE gifts!!
