Hi All!

We just booked this cruise. Unfortunately, I am unable to go back and read the 69 page thread :) but I'm wondering if the FE is still open? We had such a great time participating last August on the Dream. Cruising with me are DH28- will be fresh off Military Orders! :woohoo: and DS3.

I'm getting so excited!! :cool1::yay::dance3::banana::cheer2:

In pretty sure the FE is still open :-)
Welcome to the group x

:welcome: Krs1300 :welcome:

I'll get your family added to the cruisers list on the first page of the thread. Do you have any special celebrations?

Yes, we'd love you to join the FE. :cloud9:
We may split it into two groups depending on how big the list is once I get the early crusiers re-comfirmed. Can you please give me your names, family name, cabin number (if you have it yet) and an email where I can send you the final list.

Lise

Hi there!

I just bought the airline tickets last night so I think this is REAL now :cool1:

This is my 4th cruise but my 1st on Fantasy. Last time I cruised was 4 years ago I think. I see a lot has changed so bare with me as I catch up.

This will be an early birthday celebration for me since I am turning 39 again :sad2: on Sept 19th.

Cruisers:

Ilonka (me)
Jack (DH)
Isa (DD12)
Jay (DS9)

I would love to participate in the FE fun!

I am home from the 20 hour drive (10 each way) back to DC. There was a 3 hour family party for my brother. I believe I win sister of the year for that. :lmao:

With this being our first Family Cruise.. I've been looking into the excursions. I really don't want to do one at every stop. I was hoping to just go to the beach at the Cayman Islands. Is this reasonable? Is it difficult to find an area?:wave2:

Hi! I need some advice here. I am arriving to MCO on Thursday and going to a park on Friday. I am thinking about staying Friday night at MCO and taking the ground transportation one way to the Port on Saturday.

So I would like to know the following:
Are the pick ups at the airport only?
How do you schedule pick ups?

I usually rent a car and stay near the port the night before but thought maybe we could rest more if we go the same day. I am having mixed feelings about it now...

Some of the hotels in wdr maybe cheaper then the hot at the airport..all star or disney art of animation..you stay there and use the disneys magical express for free from the airport to the resort and use the ground transfers from the resort to the port and from the port to the airport. .so you save on a car rental etc...

Really?!?! That would be perfect for us:) we are flying in on the 27th and plan on gng to wdr on Thursday n Friday their waterpark. I will have to look up the resorts n find out.

The all star and art of animation were about 100. And 115. A night which is cheaper then most of the other hotels outside of the wdw resort and more convenient. ..

You should be able to get a taxi once you get to port that would be reasonable in taking you the beach. Cruise Critic probably has some info on that as some of their members really enjoy 'beating' the system and never booking boat excursions.

Pick Ups are also at the Disney World Resorts for the same amount of money.
