Is this parade worth staying for? It seems like it is at the "bitter end" of Animal Kingdom park hours and I wonder if you get finished with your other activities, is is worth staying on just for this parade?

IMHO this parade is worth seeing at least once. It is a very cute parade, and my kids enjoy watching it.

My two cents is that it is an good parade, but definetely my least favorite of the parades.

I, however, am one who find it difficult to do everything in Animal Kingdom in a single day (at least by its early closing time). I like to enjoy the park's details. Therefore, the Jammin Jungle parade is a good end to the day in the park. After watching the parade, we usually head over to do Kali River Rapids or the Maharaja Jungle Trek. If you've felt like you've already done "everything", then skip the parade and head over to another park for the evening.

We really enjoyed this parade when we saw it last year- the biggest drawback was that we were seated at the end of the parade route and it seemed to take forever to get to us- there wasn't much shade and the kids were hot, but once it got there they thoroughly enjoyed it.

We never stay the whole day in Animal Kingdom. We generally will come back for the parade around 3:00 and then leave and go to another park or to our hotel. Staying a full day would just be too much for us.

I agree it is the least enjoyable of the parades. But usually you are a lot closer than the other parades, so it is better in that way.
It's worth watching once. But if you are tired, hungry, cranky, then pass.

It is fun, but very loud. The guests who get to ride in the parade all have earplugs on since the music is so loud. They include lots of guests on the floats.

I love this parade! I find myself smiling during the whole parade.
In my opinion it's definitely worth staying for.

Cute parade. I think that AK is the most beautiful of the Disney Parks and the parade emulates the look of the park fairly well. It's fairly low tech. Really low tech actually. Don't look to be wowed with snowglobes or electric lights. It's more earthy. Wood, metal and papier meche seem to be the construction materials of choice. It's cute, and you can get a close spot even at the last minute usually.

I really enjoyed this parade. It's worth staying for--at least once.

YES! Especially if you have kids .......this parade was the highlight of AK for my kids that day.

stay and see it at least once...we did during our last vacation and we were really impressed with it...very interactive and engaging....it has become one of our favorite parades in the "world".....
have fun!!!!

Since we usually do AK in the morning Ive never thought about seeing this parade. After all these reviews, I may have to rearrange my schedule a bit to try to catch it. Now Im excited about it.
Thanks everyone! :D

I really wanted to see this parade, and I'm really glad we did! I liked way more than any other the others. We had already spent one day at AK, but had left early for a PS at MK. We came back for the parade after a monring at Blizzard Beach

Do AK one morning of your trip. On another day, go later to watch the parade, then head over to Epcot.

The music of this parade is fun! The puppets are similar to the Tapestry of Dreams parade, but with an animal theme.

This is actually my favorite WDW parade. I'm not sure if I could explain why. I think because you are so close to the actual parade. If you tried you could reach out and touch the characters walking along the parade route and the characters interact with the people watching. It's so colorful and so upbeat. Very different from the "formal" parades at MK or EPCOT.

At any rate, I love the Jammin Jungle parade. You should see it.

We like the parade. It is fun and the music is catchy. We always see it at least once. Of course, we like the AK and have no problem keeping busy there until 4:00. As far as Disney parades go, it is not as good as the MK afternoon parade and is better than the MGM parade, IMHO.

we saw mickey's jammin jungle parade for the first time this past friday. It's something that you should at least see once, but, IMHO, it was my least favorite of the disney parades. As for viewing area: we were able to view from in front of the tusker house restaurant in harambe which is at the beginning of the parade route. we were able to get a front row view only about 15 minutes before the parade which was nice. As soon as the parade finished we walked right on to kilaminjaro safari. There were alot of guest involved in the parade. If those guests had to pay to be in the parade, then this parade would definately be my least favorite. all in all, worth seeing once though.
