You have the most amazing willpower. If I am going to indulge in something, there is no holding back. WAY TO GO only eating a couple fries!

Hey Jamie! Sounds like you are in a GREAT mindset for healthy eating! Healthy eating isn't about being a perfect eater all the time. I think it's realizing a craving and taking care of it before it gets out of hand and you just go NUTS (and I speak from experience! :rotfl: ).

Happy belated birthday and keep up the GREAT work!
 
Happy Birthday Jamie! I love Maggiano's, wish somebody would take me there for my birthday! Your food sounds good, I notice you said you had a "few" fries, thats something to brag about. Keep up your hard work and pat yourself on the back for 20 minutes of activity. Thats 20 more minutes than most people do!

I've had to change my mindset on exercise in this area. I just don't have the big blocks of time right now to get in a really good workout, so I try and squeeze it in whereever I can. You are doing great!!! :cheer2:

Good Wednesday (gosh already) morning,

Sorry I have not been around in a while. Just when I think things are going to get bettter, something happens. I had a few personal issues (family) to take care of so that has taken up a lot of my time. But all is hopfully good now and we can move on!

So these last few weeks have been good. I have been working out, getting my water in. Eating has been so- so. But I have gotten back on track and this time I am sticking to it!!! I really mean it this time. I have been so good since October started and I am feeling better too. I have the energy that I once had back.

I am going to join the October exercise challenge and I am going to make my goal this month. Each time I sign up I can't seem to make my goal, but not this time. I am gonna do it! I know I can, I just have to make time to work out more.

I have not started my trip report yet, I am hoping to get to that this weekend. It'll be fun re-reading my jounral since I am still suffering from PMS (post magical syndrome) I just love WDW and I literally hate coming home. Then when we get home DH wants to do some sort of mini vacation around Thanksgiving or Christmas and guess where he suggests....WDW or DL! So then I really start to plan and get everything moving, then airfare goes sky high so we decide not to go. Can you believe that he told me that he does not know if he wants to go back to WDW next year....What I am going to do! I am slowly talking him into it again. He has been looking at our pictures and keeps talking about it. This time we may go at a different time of year. Not really sure when, he wants to go when the weather is nice, he does not want to worry about hurricanes and also when there is low crowds and the park is open later than 6pm. So I am doing some research on when we can go. We will see.

Monday:

B @ 5:15 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:30 1/2 cup cottage cheese with 1 pickle (yum)
L @ 12:00 turkey and cheese sandwich with pasta salad - skipped the cake! We had a bridal shower for our CAO (chief accounting officer) and they had yummy cake!
S @ 2:45 1 cup yogurt
D @ 6:00 bacon sandwich
Water was good, reached my 100 oz goal today!
Exercise was good too, 20 minutes on the ellipitcal and 20 minutes fast walking

Tuesday:
B @ 5:30 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:45 1/2 cup lf cottage cheese with 1 pickle
L @ 11:30 HC chicken noodle soup
S @ 2:30 1 cup yogurt
D @ 6:30 2 corn taco's with ff cheese
Water was good, fell short of my 100oz, but got down 96oz
Exercise was good, 20 minutes on the ellipitcal, 20 minute fast walk and 20 minutes of the Biggest Loser workout. OMG that thing kicked my butt!!!

So that's in for now, I will be getting caught up on everyone's journal's again!

I know how tedious those trip reports can be...I've only completed two days of mine and we've been back for almost two weeks now lol...but I'm with you, i HATE leaving WDW! It's such an escape from the normal world....

Jamie: you are doing really well! You'll make the October challenge, don't worry. I didn't make last month's either but am determined this time too! I hope you get to take your mini vacation, airfare is hard to predict these days. As far as a WDW trip next year, I LOVE late April into early May. Warm but not humid. Its the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot, the spring breakers are gone and school is not out for summer. Park hours are later than 6:00 except MK does close early sometimes for grad nights. Its my favorite time to go hands down!

Keep up your hard work. That is so great you came right home and got right back on program. That is something to be very proud of!

I hear you about WDW...... The last day of my vacation is usually spent not enjoying WDW, but wallowing in self pity because I have to leave. :sad: Maybe writing the trip report will help you and your DH re-live all of those wonderful memories and he will agree to go back next year! :goodvibes

Jaime, you have a great attitude and with that I know you will suceed with the October Challenges. Great job staying on track while you have been dealing with other issues.

I'm a CA girl, so of course my vote is for DL. It is an easy mini-vacation too because it is so much smaller.

Wow it's Friday already!!!! Thanks for stopping by everyone!!

Well we have decided not to go on a mini vacation...instead we are going to save our money for WDW next year. I almost have DH convinced that we NEED to go back! I think all it will take is for him to look at a few more pictures and then I am home free!!!! We were looking at WDW pictures last night and that got him in the mood, so we will see. Keep your fingers crossed!!!!

Eating has been really good. I did go out yesterday with an old friend, but I think I did pretty good. Not the best, but good. Eating out is always tough though....I think!

Wednesday:
B @ 5:15 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:30 1 cup yogurt
L @ 11:30 1 chicken patty and two small slices of bread
S skipped, was not hungry
D @ 5:50 2 corn tacos with ff chees (need to go the grocery store)
Water was good - 100 oz again YEAH for me!
Exercise was also good, 20 minutes on elliptical, 20 minutes fast walking. I was going to do the Biggest Loser work out, but I didn't get home in time. \

Thursday:
B @ 5:30 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:00 1 cup yogurt
L @ 12:30 Grilled chicken sandwich, pickle and a few french fries
S skipped, again not hungry!
D @ 6:00 2 slices of a frozen pizza.
Water - 100 oz again! Yeah ME! Exercise, 20 minutes fast walk. I again was going to do Biggest Loser was didn't have time. Plus I slept right through the alarm...so I didn't get the elliptical in. So exercise was not good, could have been so much better!

I am going to start my trip report this weekend, I told DH that I really needed to. I am actually hoping to start today, but we will see. I am leaving work early, 2pm to go grocery shopping and then straight home. I should be able to get it at least started while he is still at work!

Great news about WDW! You will convince DH I am sure, we women have our ways ;) ! Your food and exercise look really good, just think how skinny you'll be for that WDW trip next year! Eating out is tough but you certainly held your own. Make sure you post the link for your trip report, I want to read it for sure. Have a great weekend and keep up the good work!

So I didnt start my trip report yet, but I will. I am trying to get to it, but we have had a very busy couple of days. So soon. Actually I am hoping to get to it today!

These last few days have been good, but really busy. We have had a ton of things to get done and then DH parents came over and well that put a stop to all the things that we needed to do. But that's okay, because we got everything taken care of. Life should slow back down again!!!

Well, I did it!!!! I have finally convince DH that we need to go back to WDW again next year!!! I am so excited. He told me to start pricing it out at certain hotels and we will go from there. The past three years we have stayed at POR and we want to try something a little different next time. I told him that I really want to stay and the Swan and Dolphin, so if I can get it cheap enough we might do that. He really wants to stay at the Boardwalk, but that is out of our price range. I have even thought about renting points from someone if we could. Has anyone done that? I have a lot to think about between now and then, but at least we are going!!!!

Eating has been good, as well as exercise. I need to update my totals....I have been working out everyday. I had to take Monday off because my calf muscles were so sore that I could barely walk. So I walked and that was it. I didn't do the elliptical or the Biggest Loser. Yesterday was a much better day and I was able to get a little work out in. Still didn't want to push it too much, I was not sure how I was going to feel in the morning.

Friday:
B @ 5:15 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:30 1 cup yogurt
L @ 12:00 turkey and cheese sandwich
S @ 2:45 1 granola bar
D @ 6:00 1 corn dog
Water was good. 100 oz again!! Exercise was good. I did 20 minutes fast walking and 25 minutes Biggest Loser

Saturday:
B @8:00 Breakfast bowl by Jimmy Dean - found them at the store, pretty good. Not so good for me, but good none the less!
S skipped, was busy and forgot about it.
L @ 2:00 chicken sandwich, a few french fries
S skipped
D @7:00 frozen pizza
Water was okay, didn't make the 100oz, but got in close to 80. Could have done better. Skipped the work out today...not sur why, just did.

Sunday:
B @ 8:00 2 waffles with little butter and syrup
S skipped
L @ 11:30 grilled cheese and 1 cup macaroni
S skipped
D @ 5:30 1 corn dog
Water was good again, didn't get 100 again, but same as Saturday, close to 80. Worked out with the Biggest Loser again! I love this DVD!\

Monday:
B @ 5:30 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:30 1 cup macaroni
L @ 11:30 HC chicken alfredo and 1 serving of corn. They have changed these little meals and have added veggies, but since I don't like their veggies I brought my own. How awesome of me was that!!!
S @ 2:45 1 granola bar
D @ 6:00 potatoes and 2 biscuits
Water was good, I did get in 100oz. I didn't work out except for walking. I was tooo sore!

Tuesday:
B @ 5:15 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:30 1 breakfast cookie
L @ 11:30 HC turkey and mashed potatoes with my 1 serving of corn
S @ 3:30 1 granola bar. Man I wanted a chocolate chip cookie, but I didn't have one. I stuck to my snack that I brought.
D @ 6:00 frozen pizza....needed something fast!
Water was good, 100 oz again. I was going to work out yesterday morning, but I didn't know if I was going to be too sore still. So I walked and then when I got home I did 20 minutes Biggest Loser.
